Fits my Kamado Joe classic original all ok. It's not stainless steel so longevity may be an issue but being half the price of some others and included the vortex, it's a bargain.It is coated and made if thick steel so should last a while.Airflow improved so vents will need further adjustment but it's nice to see a more even spread coal burn rather than just the center section.Good value and delivery

Perfect for fast indirect cooking. Pushed my weber past 600F easily and resulted in some very tasty chicken wings. Great for fast cooks when you want crispy skins but keep the meat juicy. Yet to use the charcoal basket but it looks good for longer burns and indrectly cooking in the center, using the vortex inverted.

I bought this as an alternative to the overpriced kick ash basket and glad I did. The basket is heavy gauge and well made. I wondered if it would actually make a difference to grilling on a BK Keg and it has, the burn is easier to control and loading coals is easier. Recommended.
