Perfect fit for Samsung RF268ABRS Easy to install.

Our Samsung fridge is about 12 years old, so starting to have typical issues including the spring breaking on the door flipper. Tried replacing the spring but it just didn't quite work because the plastic assembly around it was broken up too. So I ordered this flipper assembly - a good bit more than a spring but a whole lot less than a new fridge. The toughest part was separating the wire harness connecting the flipper to the fridge - had to use pliers to hold it and apply enough force to pull it out. Other than that, replacement was very quick & easy, and now we don't have to remember - or tell visitors - to manually hold the flipper in place when closing the door.

Literally a 5 minute repair and it fits and works perfectly! Knowing what I know now, I think I could have used some JB Weld to glue the part that broke off the original. Once I got the old one off and compared it to the new one I could see that I probably could have fixed it well enough to last a few years. But no regrets! This is a super easy 5-minute repair.

I had been looking for months everywhere for a Samsung Refrigerator Flipper Assembly to fit model (RF266AEPN). It works!!!

Fits Samsung RF267AERS French door refrigerator. Samsung no longer manufactures the door flap for the RF267AERS. I have searched for several months and tried a couple that were advertised as potential matches with no luck. This one fit perfectly and comes with the spring. Easy to install and the price was less than the other solutions I had tried unsuccessfully.

Bought as a replacement part for our 16 year old Samsung RF267AB fridge. This was an easy 5 minute install. The part appears to have an improved design on the top, such that the small bar that slides into the top of the fridge body is more substantial. The door now closes very smoothly.

As one other reviewer already stated, this part fits the Samsung refrigerator model RD266AEPN/XAA. If you look for the part number in Samsung parts diagrams, you will find the number DA97-07276A which has been discontinued and is unavailable everywhere. I was glad to have found this review and this part, as it was indeed a perfect fit. Without this, I would have faced having to throw away an otherwise perfectly working refrigerator, as the original part could not be repaired.
