Great Grate!
Sturdy and fits my small Majestic (brand) fireplace perfectly. Wasn't easy to find a small one that would fit. The fireplace had a flimsy grate that was connected on the 2 back legs to the floor of the fireplace with brackets. Wasn't easy to get out and I finally cut the brackets with bolt cutters and that worked good.I've had this grate a year now and had many fires and am very happy with it!

Very sturdy!
Perfect size for our fireplace...extremely sturdy. We had purchased the same one years ago. We wanted to update with the same grate due to thinking it was time for replacement. This truly is a great grate!!!

BEST GRATE DESIGN OUT THERE!
The winters here in Fargo are brutal and we build a fire almost every afternoon, partly for the warmth but mainly to keep our sanity. We’re lucky enough to have a massive brick fireplace in the den that everyone gravitates to. There’s just nothing better when the weather outside is lousy...but getting and keeping a fire going can be frustrating unless you have the right grate. This one is designed to eliminate typical challenges we’ve faced in the past. The grid pattern on the Copperfield is ideal. It lets oxygen flow around the kindling to get a good base fire started quickly, but is tight enough that burning logs and larger embers stay elevated. The grate itself is low enough that the embers that fall through really keep the fire going. The front lip allows us to load several logs at a time and prevents them from rolling out.Using this specific grate has made a huge difference (compared to the many other styles and brands we’ve gone through) in that we use less wood while getting more efficient and easy to control heat. It’s taken us years to find the perfect grate, and this is definitely it.Now, having said that, I should mention that similar cast iron grates we’ve used degraded (developed a hole in the center) and had to be replaced at the end of the season, after seven months of almost continuous use. (Damn these long Fargo winters!) Even if we only get two years out of it, this grate is worth every cent and I’ll definitely buy it again.

Solid basket grate
Ive used it for month in my Buck Stove burning nothing but oak and it has held up well. Hopefully it will be in use for 20 years like the last one.

Worth the price. works good.
This is the only choice for the standard little factory build fireplace. This crate makes it functional from decorative. It is elevated just right to provide airflow to burning firewood and some space for ashes. The box keeps firewood logs away from the walls. So far no bending or other deformation after few months of extensive use.

First class grate
I would highly recommend this Copperfield cast iron grate. Perfect size and material. It burns firewood great. Keeps it off the back fire wall and protects logs from rolling out. So easy to stack wood and light it and burns continuously without out having to poke at it all the time. Great product and high quality.

Solid, Sturdy Fireplace Grate
Rock solid, very stabile, thanks to the short legs. And it is HEAVY, not made of thinner, cheaper irpn. You get what you pay for and this cast iron grate is worth every cent. I like the shape pf it, too -- angles so that it fit the fireplace and its angles perfectly. This will last many, many wood burning seasons.
