Gute Men Automatic Watch,Orkina Leisure Automatic Mechanical Wristwatch Golden Skeleton Luminous Hand

I was honestly a little bit worried when I first bought the watch... I did not know what to expect for $30. I am very familiar with high end Swiss watches and after reading the reviews I thought I would give this a try, as I needed a replacement watch. I was absolutely delighted with what I got in the mail yesterday! Four $30 it is an amazing buy. As with every automatic watch, there was fluctuation in accuracy at first; it needed to be "run in." As it was running fast, I layed it vertically on its side with the crown facing down over night and it is precise and ready to use! Beautiful and accurate. Would buy again... It is my little secret!

 The watch is large, about 45mm (50mm w/crown), the movement on the watch is great, has a two to three days power reserve. The watch can also be manually wound. All the subdials work, the dials are for the number of days of the week (1-7) and the number of month (1-12), it also features the date. Again, the watch is indeed an automatic and all the dials work properly, which is rare at this price. My only complaint is the band is a little stiff, but hasn't corroded or changed color or anything. Altogether the watch looks and works great, I may change the band to leather as time goes on, but it is at the moment one of my favorite watches in my collection featuring some watches 10 times this price.

Recently I started really getting into automatic/mechanical watches. I was sick of marring up the case plate to replace the batteries and who in the world thinks it's a good idea to put some of the case notches in the dumbest positions?! So asides from my "fine" watches, I wanted daily watches that I wouldn't be upset about if something ever happened to them. Enter the tourbillons.The more expensive one (in the 200-300) range didn't quite stand out. Oddly enough this and other 30 dollar ones had a good combination of style and features. 30 bucks, what the hell.Pros:- not too heavy but not feather weight cheap feeling. This is a plus! My Omega and Breitling can double as brass knuckles...this was about half or less that weight. Very comfy on the wrist.- over case finish, only time will tell if any pitting or flaking will happen but on first impression, not bad at all- straps, I was expecting some cheapy feeling straps for 30 bucks. No! Shoot, these straps are better than some seikos and similar level ($60-$125) ones. I though ok after 5 wears the top layer would crack but no. not at all (yet). inner surface is genuine leather with dense layer of padding inside sewn to a top layer of maybe a synthetic gator skin textured material...almost like pleather but solid quality. Almost reminds me of the same feel and durability of the pleather in BMW 3 series.- the setting is not complex at all. A simple safety pin or paper clip will do. Left side top recessed (you look at the watch) is the year and bottom recessed is the day of week - monday etc. Right side (your view) top is the month and bottom button is the date (1, 2 etc) dial. Pull the crown out to move the hands just like any watch.Cons:- nit pick, in a super quiet room, you can hear the spring action more than some other automatics/mechanicals but this is such a nit pick- i heard some watch winders are not compatible. I have the carbon fiber 5 setting one and set it for some forward and backward rotation. Worked fine. figured I'd list it just because though I never had an issue with it.- the side button do have a small amount of play but for 30 bucks I wouldn't expect super micrometer craftsmanship like a Patek Philip. This is not a deal breaker as it really is minimal play, again, just a mention thing.Overall, I really did have to nit pick to create my cons list. For now, would I buy it again....oh yea. I left it a 4 because it's still early on into the ownership. In my long term update, I will change it if needed.Stay tuned for my long term review!!

Reading my headline you must wonder why I only have it a rating of two Stars.It really is attractive and sits beautifully on my wrist. It even comes with a better (not great, but much better) Bracelet than most Watches in that price range.I have three issues with it though:It never had any Lume. I mean zero. It doesn't matter how much sunlight it got, no luminescence. This is clearly promised in it's description. I took it to a local Jeweler who confirmed, that it hasn't any lime.Secondly, it kept great time for it's first two days. I own mostly Automatic Watches and know what is required of them. Now it is losing several minutes per day. My activities haven't changed so this difference is not due to the wearer.Finally, I wrote the Vendor to explain about the Lume and dial color issues (this was prior to its timekeeping problem) and have yet to hear back.So, I still think this a beautifully weighted and balanced mens Watch.However discoloration, zero lime, no longer keeping time (after a nice start) and the lack of service by it's Seller is disturbing.UPDATE:Please note that I have removed a further star as I just finally heard from the Vendor.After my original explanation by email of the Lume issue (please forgive my mistyping of this word earlier), and the fact that I gave it sunlight and took the Watch to a professional Jeweler (incase I was mistaken) and comments about the dial discoloration - still no mention of the loss of time - the Vendor's only response was that it needs sunlight.Obviously they did not read what I said.I am further embarrassed because I recommended this Watch to friends.This lack of service and resolution is extremely disappointing !

This watch is a beauty. At 50mm this watch is big like most men desire. The subdials are all functional. You can adjust the month,day, and date. The tourbillon gear actually moves back and forth. You can watch the movement in the window above the gear. The band and dial are chrome plated stainless steel.The links are connected by tiny rods which are simple to remove and replace. I adjusted the band size in only 5 minutes. My only complaint is that it is difficult to see the time if you glance at the dial. The dial color is beige making it hard to see the light colored hands moving. Overall this watch is worth the money. You can wipe it down and have that chrome sparkle. Beauty is on the hand of the beholder.
