I've used the light for 2 shows already. I like that there's 2 brightness options if I need the light to be brighter or dimmer. The clip is big enough so I can clip it to electronic piano stands, but still tough with upright pianos depending on the model. I also like how it can be plugged in or battery operated in case a plug isn't close by. Love this light!

After struggling for years to find adequate lighting for my baby grand, I saw this and decided it was worth a try for the price. It arrived on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. It has an optional power cord (approximately 6 feet) or 3AAA batteries (not provided). I opted to use the batteries as the cord wasn't long enough for my purposes. The batteries fit loosely in the compartment but with a piece of tape to keep them securely in place it works fine. I was concerned that the pressure of the clip might damage the wood and was happy to see that there is rubber padding to protect the wood. Once in place, the light worked just as I had hoped. It has two settings (hi/lo) and the flexibility to direct the light where needed. The low is not enough light for me but the high puts plenty of light on the music. The appearance is sleek and unobtrusive. It is a great functional light and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have only had this light for 6 weeks, and it is already broken. I only had three occasions to use it, and didn't realize it wouldn't last any longer than this. Infuriatingly, the deadline for returning it has passed and now I'm stuck with an expensive lamp that doesn't light up. The first time I turned it on, it was nice and bright. However, when I turned it on today (for only the third time), the light is so dim you can't even tell it is on. I exchanged the batteries, but this had no effect on it. I'm really unhappy with this product!!!!!!!!!!!!

I returned this item due to incorrect description. The second bullet point of the product description clearly states "Comfortable Light Tone: VAST offers light in a warm white tone (Many brands only give off cool blue-white light), making you feel comfortable and warm" —this statement is completely false. This LED is absolutely cool blue light but I had to order it and plug it in in order to find out. Had I wanted cool blue LED lighting, I could've purchased this same exact light with another brand's name stamped on in in the same place Vast Bright stamps theirs—but for half the price. If you don't care about what type of light by which you're reading music, you can buy this same light here in the marketplace for less and it's still sent via Amazon Prime. I'm not a fan of being fooled by these marketplace descriptions, only to have to return something.

I play piano in a department store. They purchased this light for the piano, and while it is bright, it is definitely not a warm color light. One person brings her own light because this light is too blue. Blue lights are hard on the eyes, and I'm debating whether the blue light is better than dim light. It does go through batteries quickly, and the light gradually dims as the batteries die, so a quick check using the cord will show how much brightness you have lost with the batteries. If you play piano for hours at a time, I would not recommend this light.

Great value! The light is bright and illuminates both my sheet music and the entire piano keyboard. A cord is included and (fortunately) is long enough to reach the outlet near my piano, so I do not have to worry about batteries.

Works fine when the batteries are aligned. I bought the first one about a year ago and then bought 2 more for signs but I found that the new ones need frequent opening to the battery compartment and aligning of the positive terminals or they won't turn on. They last a remarkably long time and are bright enough for my piano keys at night without ambient light.

This is the worst light ever! It broke after ONE use. We haven't even had it for a week and the bulb doesn't work
