NEW WR55X10942 Control Board Motherboard for GE Refrigerator PS2364946 AP443621 WR55X10942P by PartsForLess Co- 1 Year Warranty

Bought this on a hunch that this part had failed on my 14 yr old GE profile refrigerator. The symptoms I was having was nothing electrical was working other than the interior lights. The compressor and fans were silent. If the refrigerator was "reset" by unplugging then plugging back in a few minutes later it would run for a little while then cut off again. (The temperature displays would cut off and everything would stop running) This replaced GEA part No 200D4852G010 on my unit. Was easy to replace with directions provided with this part. Within 15 minutes the part was replaced and reliably running again. This part appears to be a newer version than my old motherboard. Some components are different and simplified and it includes an additional connector that my old unit didn't have or use. Functionally equivalent though. This control board apparently is very compatible with a variety of GE models. Mine wasn't listed on compatible list but the connectors and most board layout was the same as old board so I took a chance. Everything is working great.PS- Some users have posted that their failed boards showed signs of burned electrical failure. On my old board the only issue I could find was the 2 large capacitors were bulging (not flat) on their tops.

This item as replacement is half price of OEM and does the job, refrigerator compressor seems to be running less time and is quieter. Used on 12 year old GE Profile model, GSHF6K line. Installation is not difficult but be careful removing old board there are some sharp pieces and edges on these parts.

Our Hotpoint fridge was only about 4 years old when we bought our house, but it started giving us trouble pretty shortly after moving in. I am an auto mechanic and do electrical/electronic work so diagnosing a faulty appliance is no trouble for me even an overcomplicated unit like ours. Have replaced MANY parts over the years but the latest issue was that the compressor would not start. We could hear the start relay "click" and the compressor would try to run breifly but then it would shut down and "click" again, repeating three-five times before it actually stayed running. Internet/youtube searching narrowed it down to the low-voltage supply on the motherboard. I found this unit on the appliance supply website I usually shop at for a whopping $580!! I came to Amazon and found the same board for less than half of that. It plugged right in to the fridges many electrical connectors, and fired up with no problems. If you are unfortunate enough to have a GE/Hotpoint sidebyside fridge from the early part of the century then you have your work cut out for you keeping it going. As I said MANY other components have failed on our fridge in the past, make sure you do your due diligence on the internet before assuming the motherboard is the problem and you'll be fine.

Overall very pleased with delivery and product which fixed my refrigerator:-- 2005 GE Profile side by side PSS26SGRBSS. The bad motherboard was 200D4852G010 per label on the board. Placed order Thursday for stated delivery in two days on Saturday. Arrived noon on Saturday—earlier than I expected as usually these two day deliveries arrive later in evening. Package was professionally wrapped and included instructions. The board was clearly brand new and sealed in a heavy clear packaging (I assume to protect from static electricity). This product matched that model board # above. Symptom:-- when dispensing water the temperature display panel at the top of the fresh food compartment would go blank except for blinking HRS and fridge stopped cooling. After unplugging the fridge and letting sit for about an hour (tried this repeatedly), sometimes the unit would remain stuck in the HRS mode. Other times would begin cooling both freezer and fresh side again and show temperatures on the display but failed every time I dispensed water and went back to blinking HRS mode. The green light over the water dispenser control would also dim and sometimes blink after pressing the dispenser lever and shutting the down the fridge . Since the fridge would cool at times (until hitting water dispenser), after doing multiple searches on the internet I concluded it was a failed motherboard and nothing else. I had also checked the connector under the hinge of the freezer door and ruled that out as problem. I took photos before and during removing the old motherboard. Installation of the new board took only a few minutes. The refrigerator started up and began cooling as soon as I plugged it into the power outlet. Dispensed water perfectly without shutting down the fridge.

The freezer defrost circuit on this control board failed within 7 weeks of being professionally installed. Their (1) year warranty is basically worthless as you must FIRST return the part to them to be examined and tested BEFORE they will send a replacement - leaving you with a completely non-working refrigerator/freezer for what could reasonably be several weeks until the new part is authorized!

Replaced the part on my refrigerator myself. So far, so good. 👍🏾

The challenge is in determining if the problem is the circuit board or a sensor, but after testing everything in the freezer first and all of them passing, it was clear the circuit board failed. This was a nearly-identical replacement. Everything works exactly as the original however some of the pins are organized slightly differently. This doesn't make installation any more difficult.
