My employer wasn't sure about having a grow light in the office but now they see it really does not impact their electric bill in any noticeable way and it doesn't get hot to the touch even after running for 8 hours. Now everyone with an office lacking natural light is wanting to know where I got this. The plants clearly are happy and are starting to turn a bit towards the light so I spin the pots a little daily. The light has 3 different settings for plants at any stage growth. The cord it much longer than I needed to I twisted a lot of the cord around the pole to keep things neat and tidy.

I finally found a LED light that really helps me grow the plants I keep inside of my home. One of the main things I look for is that the lamp I use is height adjustable. I used to have one that was in a fixed position, but once my plant outgrew it it was of little use. This LED light is excellent in being able to change the height and move it about to benefit my plants the most.In addition, the lights from this GrowLED is pure white! From what I have seen, this is much better than the purple lighting used in other growing lights. The pure white lights keep shining brightly for the duration that it stays on. You can even keep the light on as you do any trimming, or re-soiling of the plant, as it's actually comfortable to look at (compared to a purple light).I also take advantage of a built in timer. I normally have the light on for a few hours when I am not at home, and then it automatically turns off. This really helps me in keeping my plant fully nourished without having to go back to check on it throughout the day!With all of these features, I am surprised that it was in the lower range of prices for growing lights! I am extremely happy with my new GrowLED lights since they are such a good value, and will be ordering more soon.

I ordered 3 of these lights... 2 with the wooden finish and 1 white. So far all 3 are in perfect working order and they all look nice with each plant. I have one dark corner in my living room where normal sunlight does not reach to support plants but with one of the lights I was able to put an umbrella plant in that dark spot and its growing really well.These lights are far more attractive than other hideously bright spikey lights I saw listed. I didn't want that look in my living room and these lights make my room cozier. Depending on how high or low the adjustable pole is situated in the plant, the light spills out well enough on nearby plants that they can absorb some of the light also.BONUS - I was very happy that each light had a toggle switch attached to the wire! Did not expect that feature so maybe its an upgrade? Very nice surprise! I would prefer not to use the timers and was prepared to just unplug the lights each night before I leave for work when I ordered them but the toggle switch makes these lights far easier to deal with and more appealing to own. If I need more lights in the future I'll definitely order more. I hope they last long because I'm very happy with them so far.

I bought two of these to use in specific compact areas, and they work better for some than others.PROS:- proper on/off toggle allows these to be used with an external timer, which those dimple button-style switches on other LEDs do not; this is a significant plus for the way I prefer to control my lights- compact, aesthetically pleasing, functional design with successful telescope rod that stays in place; design is elegant overall- cord is thin and clear-ish; it’s not perfect but less obtrusive than many- my plants respond to it, so whatever light is being put out is noticeable to them- light color is aesthetically pleasing to humansCONS:- cord is not long enough to use with my hanging plans and reach the outlet without involving an ugly extension cord; check the cord length for your intended use caseJURY STILL OUT:- haven’t measured light output for spectrum or intensity yet, which will tell me how this compares to a regular lightbulb and to other grow lights (an important factor in value-for-money assessment)- Only a few weeks have passed, so we will see how they hold up over time- heat output: the other day, I thought the shade of one of these seemed hot; going to have to watch that as heat could be important for the health of plants, safety of these lights, and more

This little lamp does a pretty good job boosting light for houseplants that are too far from a window to grow well. It's not going to grow tomatoes for you, nor light a really big circle of plants, but it has done great for my syngonium and lipstick vine in a darker part of the livingroom. The timer is off by roughly 30 minutes, so about once a week I have to turn it off and back on to realign it with the daytime schedule I want, but that's much easier than my other untimed grow lamp that has to be manually operated every morning and evening. I do really like that it's a white-colored full spectrum, instead of purple, since it's in the livingroom and not a grow shelf. Overall it's pretty decent, and I would probably buy again if I needed to brighten up another corner with a couple small houseplants.

It's definitely helping my plants! I had to figure out they like the plain purple light setting because it has 3 settings and also be careful not to let it hover too close to the top of your plants because it gives off heat and I almost fried one of my plants. Lol
