I got tired of looking for a screw driver to tighten the ones that you can buy at hardware stores. The red knobs work great and make them easier to install. Great product. Sturdy, well made.

These tighten and loosen many times and remain effective. They work on a variety of diameters. I use them to connect and disconnect tubing as a homebrewer and they do the trick. I wouldn't use these for long term gas or liquid lines to a keg though as you want something with a more perfect round seal (and smaller) for those.

These are easy to install and use and hold well. Recommended

This design is exponentially better than my old driver-head clamps. I now use these everywhere. The "wingnut" style tightening makes it super convenient and you don't have to worry about forgetting your screwdriver. The quality seems high on these so I am confident they will last a long time. Now to go find them in all the different sizes I need...

These are a fantastic idea. I bought them to make attaching my keg lines easier. The paddles make turning the worm clamp fairly easy, wonderful in a limited space area like a keezer, where you can't have screw drivers/wrenches easily used. In theory, these clamps would appear to be a wonderful, no tool alternative. In practice though, the red paddles you use to turn are attached by simple mold injection around the very small square brass post that turns the worm screw. This becomes important, especially when you are trying to get CO2 gas line to tighten over the manifold barb. I hand tightened these best I could and they still allowed CO2 to escape (only pressurized to about 10psi) I re-positioned them to a place I could torque them down tighter by hand, and to my surprise, all of the red paddle began snapping off. The brass post underneath is very small, and not able to be turned by pliers/wrench. I ended up finding traditional worm clamps with standard heads that you can get a wrench on, or use a flat blade screw driver to set. These clamps are a great idea, but not actually serviceable for anything where they will be required to actually clamp down on anything. If you will be using these for actual clamping purposes, please learn from my lesson, don't end up paying for the clamps twice, just buy the standard worm clamps and be done with it.

I'd say stainless steel is the material for the band, but the screw is definitely NOT stainless, or it's of such poor quality that rust is it's main ingredient... Do not let these get wet or you'll be sorry. If your usage is within a dry environment, they are pretty doggone handy though which is why I went with the three stars instead of one.

I'm buying this type for all my hoses and tubing applications from now on. Especially for temporary application or testing.
