Arts & Crafts Furniture Projects

The book is good. I bought it specifically for the info on building a Paolini Morris Chair. Unfortunately, the Morris Chair in the book is a simplified version that lack some of the features I wanted. The book is still worth the money if you are looking for great info on building Arts and Crafts style furniture. Just be aware, the Morris Chair plans are not for the chair Gregory builds in the Fine Woodworking videos.

We have taken Gregory's Morris chair class, used his plans, enjoyed his Fine Woodworking articles, and own his other two books. This book is a major advancement and professional achievement; he provides insightful tips, top notch plans, and a pragmatic approach to woodworking. His masterful instruction separates this book from the many other woodworking books that we own. This is one book that every beginner and intermediate woodworker must to add to his/her collection!

This is a very thorough book, but you need a well stocked work shop and previous wood working skills to do these projects well.

Great projects on a progressive learning curve.

Very well written, with lots of helpful photographs. I have about 100 woodworking books, this is easily in top 10%.

Yet to use but looks promising

Well illustrated with clear instructions. Meets the usual Paolini high standards.

I bought this book to make the chair on the cover. It has all the plans I need. I may also make other items featured in the book. This is a very informative project book.
