Good product but expensive.
It’s a must for tiling in wet areas but Schluter is a fortune.

Great waterproofing
I used this on my short floor and ran it 1’ up the walls to avoid using the 6” tape in the joints. I only had to put in the corner Kerdi to assure no leaks.

You'll never worry about water damage
Thick, tough plastic membrane. Use the right thinset, look at some youtube videos. Ove you get the hang of it, it's not bad to work with. Will say that the first time, it's a leap of faith to install it. it doen't seem like it's really stuck well to the wall, but once you get tile on it, you can forget about ever removing it. I ended up deciding to recut and replace a couple of corner tiles, and it's nearly impossible to get them off once the thinset cures. Much harder than removing from backer board. Well worth the extra money you'll spend on your shower surround.

Use unmodified cement
This product is easy to install. Use unmodified cement for installation. It adhered very well and gives you peace of mind knowing you are waterproofing your shower walls. We installed large porcelain tiles over this membrane and have not had any issues of tiles not sticking to it. We bought the manufacturer's recommend thinset. It is pricey yet you want to make sure it is done right. I will be using this in the future when I do my next bathroom remodel.
