Good firm ride, great price.
Firm ride, but I like it. Good price, far cheaper on Amazon than at Autozone. Controls body motion extremely well on my big suburban. Have them front and back.

Like Goku on the Nimbus
My ride is much smoother! Driving my car felt like riding an electric bill. Now, it feels like I am floating on a cloud. I love it.

Made it 8 months and 6000 miles before going bad
The shocks were installed on a 2003 Tahoe LT with no modifications to it. Shocks started making enough noise to warrant replacement again after only 8 months. In that time I put less than 6000 miles on the truck. Most of these miles were highway and none were offroad. My advice, get something better than these.

Better than 5100s
I put the Bilstein 5100s front and back on my 2007 Tahoe a couple years ago. I was never happy with those. Frankly the 5100 sucked. They never really actually controlled the truck motion. Weirdly the 5100 added to the bounce but softened the bobs, if that can make any sense.I was looking at the 4600s but then went back to the roots of what I really like on my trucks. A HD standard shock, like the old gas magnums and Gabriel’s.So I have pulled out those incredibly expensive and terrible 5100 and put in the Gabriel ultra back and front. Ooooh yessss. There is the firm smooth totally controlled ride that it should be.Do not waver. BUY GABRIEL. 120yrs of proof carries more weight than any online review lists.
