Shea Butter - 16 oz. - Unrefined - I LOVE IT!!!
I am in love with this product & I can't get enough of it.It is incredible what we can learn reading honest reviews. So sorry that I missed the benefits of this natural product for so long.I was afraid that it would be too much for me and go to waste, because I wouldn't be able to use the whole thing within a year, but, the way I am indulging, it won't last long.It has a slight nutty smell, nothing aggressive, just nice, very natural. The color is like the picture, but you can see a very slight greenish touch that makes the product even fresher and more natural. The consistency is of a dry paste, grainy, hard to pick, but once you get a small portion and melt it in the palm of your hand, you won't stop spreading it all over your skin. It has a high affinity, the skin absorbs it well, since I use a little bit at a time. Those micro grains disappear completely as soon as it melts. I use it on my face and all the areas of my body that need special care like feet, hands, elbows or everywhere.Honestly, I have used all kinds of products, very expensive and also the common over the counter products, and none of them impressed me, making me believe that those expensive products are just for the name, nothing relevant about their action and the results.I never used a product with these results, it leaves my skin almost translucent and sooo soft. It nourishes, deeply replenishes and moisturizes like nothing else. The feeling is that the cells were thirsty for something that they found in the Shea butter, and they soak up.It is really great for my face, the skin has a beautiful glow after shower, when I use it, but it does not get greasy. Eye lids and lips included. Such a natural product can only be good for a delicate skin.Although, for a change, my hair has been nice and silky lately, I couldn't resist testing after washing it and towel drying. I believe that it would be very good for long hair that needs extra care for the tips or for the dry hair. Also great for body butter mix, of course. It is really pure. This Shea butter (the one I received) is exactly as advertised. Fast delivery & it arrived in perfect condition, like the picture, tightly sealed and smells delicious! I researched so much to make my choice and based on the reviews, I'm glad I chose this seller. If you are reading this, don't think twice. It is a GREAT DEAL for the money and a wonderful product!!The date showing in the ad is the same I got in my container, so the seller must keep it really up to date. It is stored and shipped by Amazon. Thanks to all the reviewers for their help! A buyer relies on honest and detailed reviews. I hope my review will help other viewers.Special thanks to the seller, who is so HONEST and delivers exactly what she/he promises, and brings us such a great product. This Shea butter surpasses my expectation.I highly recommend and will be back for more!!

An amazing product with many uses!
I swear by this stuff. I used to spend tons of money on L'Occitane Shea butter products, until I stopped one day at the local herb store and discovered the wonders of unrefined Shea butter. The stuff L'Occitane makes is refined, which means they strip out a lot of the good nutrients and process the heck out of it while watering it down. It may be smoother than the unrefined stuff, but it doesn't give you nearly as much benefit. When I finally started using pure unrefined Shea butter, I started realizing just how amazing this stuff is. I had started getting a few stretch marks on my legs from losing weight, and immediately slathered on this Shea butter religiously twice per day--not just a little but, but enough to make sure the mark and surrounding area were very well oiled. In about a month I could only see the slightest evidence of the mark if I really looked, and it (more importantly) was the same texture as my skin and didn't have any ridges or scarred texture. I don't know how it would work for more serious stretch marks like with pregnant bellies, but it's worth a shot. I think the most important thing is to use this preventively when you anticipate getting stretch marks--it really nourishes the skin so it can more easily adapt to stretching. Another use for this product that I've really enjoyed is as a face cream. I use it instead of the $80 bottles of creams made in a chemistry lab that I used to buy. I think this is much more natural and has plenty of nutrients to keep the skin hydrated (I'm convinced that the reason African women have such gorgeous skin when they're older is because of pure Shea butter). A simple warning--if you slather this all over your body, you clothes/pillow/sheets will get oily and ruined! I make sure to use old clothes that I don't mind having oil stains, and I don't wash them after every single use to avoid messing up my washing machine with this oil that is very thick and viscous when cold. Overall though, I love this product and will continue buying tubs of it!

GREATNESS IN A BOTTLE
So after doing almost a week of research on what real shea butter is suppose to be like, i decided to give this one a try, and i'm pretty sure i hit the jackpot, cause this thing is nothing short of amazing. The shipping is nice and fast, came in a box with plastic puffs inside so the product is well protected. The jar is a very good size, butter is a ivory color, with a nutty smokey aroma, grainy to the touch but melt immediately when rubbed, so i know this is very good raw quality. I use this as a body moisturizer and facial moisturizer, leaves my skin so supple and smooth, coming from a asian girl that use to be obsessed with expensive product ranging from SKII to Creme de la Mer, you know this is good stuff. I only use a tiny bit each time, rub them between my palm to warm it up before apply a thin layer, skin absorbs this within a couple minutes and i can't believe how well this works, and since shea butter is non-comedogenic, it's safe for all skin type. I also use this on my hair as a sealant, i towel dry my hair until 80% dry and then apply a bit of this on my hair from mid section down, hair dries unbelievably soft and smooth. I think i might have found a new HG product!
