Light itself seems well-made and sturdy. I purchased it to locate pet stains, since I could smell cat odor on flooring. I had already removed carpeting and was looking on OSB plywood. Flashlight caused chips on flooring to show up purple and paint and caulk to glow white but I did not find cat stains. They are old so that may be part of the problem. I have no doubt the light works, but unfortunately I could not locate pet stains with it.

It works to find stains, even works on poop stains that are set in, washed out & still there. A cat of mine pooped on a rug that I washed several times & used this light on only to find the spot he pooped glow purple in color.We don't have carpets, so this will work on hard wood flooring & even on walls (paint drops will glow purple). I didn't get much use of it though, probably because my cat didn't mark his territory as much as I initially thought he did. Plus, the Nature's Miracle I mopped the floors with, sprayed the walls & cleaned the furniture with got rid of all the stains before I got to use this light.Be sure to use with the special glasses sold here on Amazon, or else the light alone hurts your eyes even if you hold is a ways from your face.

Works very well and creates a good amount of light. I bought this one because the LEDs are protected by the case so hopefully it can take a drop.The threads for the battery compartment are not that great, not very smooth at all and a bit sharp. Other than that it seems to be made decently well.

I would have said I like it, but I was not happy with all the spots I found thru the house.Product works as advertised.

The light itself is the brightest I've ever seen. It does get hot rather quickly, but only near the light end, not where I hold it. So....good product. Small but heavy in the hand. Feels sturdy.

Does what it intends to...no complaints

Purchased this on a recommendation from a friend and LOVE it. Being a father of two little boys I wanted to make sure that we were getting their bathroom as clean as we can. Well, looks like we need to work on their aim a little. I would have NEVER guessed that the bathroom was a gross as it really is. If you are in need of a product like this, then do not hesitate on purchasing this one. Nice to see that with everything now a days cheep and flimsy something that is really well built at a great price. A+++

This ultraviolet flashlight works awesome. I tried it out on our carpets to find hidden pet stains and was surprised how many stains were under our dining room table that appears to be clean at first glance. Now we can really clean better in that area. You can't clean what you can't see! I mainly got this for scorpions and can't wait to use this for when they come back in season to help keep our home safe from those pests. Thanks for a great product.
