The perfect tool that my husband never knew he needed!Before Christmas, my husband was complaining about perfecting the shape of his beard. Of course, I started to look up gift ideas that could help and stumbled across this straightener. He loves it and I do too! This straightener gives his beard a much cleaner, sleeker look than before.I will warn you that the way that he was trimming his beard before no longer worked since he started to use the straightener, so there was a bit of a learning curve on that end. When he straightened it out, his beard was no longer even, if that makes sense. Still totally worth the transition.Long cord with swivel attachment is also helpful.Hope this review is helpful! Easy to use and works really well. my Brother has one in his salon and my husband wanted one too. So we got him one of course after he cut the length of his beard off so he had to wait to use it until his beard grew out a bit. It straitened rather quickly with very little damage to the facial hair. Easy to use and heats up quickly. I use to think it was weird to do it but now I see the beauty of it! No stray hairs going all over and a very clean sleek beard!

After my hairdryer died, I decided to try this product to help keep my beard frizz to a minimum. It's a straight forward product that works well. I like to give it about one minute to get warmed up prior to using it, so I just plug it in and turn it on while I'm pre-combing my beard to get any major tangles out.I've found that it works best for me if I comb slowly, using the lower heat setting. The only reason that I didn't give this product five stars is because the swivel feature on the power cord seems to need a little assistance from me in swiveling it down and out of the way. I'd prefer that the weight of the power cord was enough for the cord to swivel out of the way properly. But, I wouldn't let this one small negative prevent you from giving this product a try.

While it does straighten my beard, there are some design flaws. Several bristles have broken off, and don’t stand up to regular use. See picture. It also lacks the overheat shut off feature described. Once it’s on it stays on, for HOURS, if you forget to turn it off.

My best man recommended this for my beard. Works great. I plug it in before I jump in the shower and it's ready to go when I finish drying off. The power cord is a great length if your electrical outlet is by the sink.The nubs help protect your skin from getting burned. Even with this, I did manage to burn the bottom of my lower lip one of the first dozen times I used it, so be careful.It's good for home and travel, small enough to fit in my medium sized shaving kit. Takes up about the size of three travel toothbrush holders.

I purchased the item 4 months ago and it worked great. In the beginning, I could use the medium setting now I have to use high for it to work. Also, the iron teeth are breaking off. I Know my beard is coarse and I use a comb prior to using the device.Needles to say short term great product but long term not so much.

I was skeptical about usIing a beard iron but my beard hair has white/gray hair that is thick. Glad I chose to buy this product. I use it daily after my morninng shower and I apply beard balm and/or beard oil before ironing my beard out. This beard iron heats up fast and I have not burned myself and/or any beard hair. The trick to using this is to be slow and patient while using constant pressure. I am 100% sure that this item and for the price is worth it. Thanks for making my beard even better. Note: All beard users need to use beard wash and beard conditioner to make a true difference for any beard.

I would recommend anyone who seriously cares about their beard to buy something else. I had teeth on the comb break off in the first couple of weeks. It is very easy to burn yourself as well. It defiantly will straighten your beard but I bought another hot comb that was just better constructed and haven't burnt myself. The other problem I had was the plug to this was not made for American outlets, not a huge problem because it cam with an adapter. But, it made it bulky and a bit more of a hassle to pack on trips. Overall it will work and proved to me that these aren't a gimmick. But if you care about yourself at all, spend $5 and buy something nicer. It will last longer because by the time I replaced this 5 teeth broke off the comb.
