Easy to use
It's very easy to use never had an issue with using it on any plumbing fixtures chrome/polished, & use as oil filter wrench. I'm guessing some people just don't know how to use tools correctly 🙄 that's y they leave bad reviews 🤔. Plus u don't always want buy everything from Amazon.

Loosened 8” irrigation filter housing easily!
The 9” band on our Amiad irrigation filter was realllly stuck but this tool released it without much effort. Local stores didn’t have anything with a long enough strap. Watch the YouTube video, it helps you get it right. This will be worth every cent.

Quality piece of hardware
This is a nice wrench, apparently using high quality materials throughout. The strap is the strongest appearing I have seen and has a dimpled finish on each side that should aid in keeping the strap from slipping while in use. However, with as heavy duty as this appears to be, it begs for a longer handle. I think they should sell a 12" version and a 18" version. But I guess I can place an extension bar over the sturdy handle if necessary.

Finally, a good strap wrench...
You would think a strap wrench would be easy to make. After all, it is a bar with a strap. I've either broken them with little force or they wouldn't grip. After a lot of searching, both in my major city and online, I came across this.This actually is well made, grips very well, and doesn't break.

I needed to attach a smoothish muzzle device. No matter what I did the rubber strap would not grip it. Ended up scratching it. It is very solid and well built, it just doesn't grip very well. And yes, I did follow the instructions.

Finally, done buying disposable plastic wrenches.
Worked great! Was sick and tired of breaking the cheap plastic wrenches while taking of my Big Blue filters. Make sure to position it right and you'll get a solid grip. If the housing is wet, wipe it off dry. Made in the USA.
