Hydrea London Japanese Spa Sisal Detox Body Brush SJB

I was looking for a spa brush that wasn't too hard or too soft. The one I bought with the bumps that's supposed to reduce cellulite is useless. The bumps prevent the brush part from working. I use it as a soap dish. This one, however, feels marvelous when you brush your whole body. Not too hard for delicate areas yet works wonders on your feet. If you do it before a shower, you come out soft as a baby's bottom all over. A winner.

Love this product. Stumbled upon it in a dis punt store. Husband starting using it so I decided to get him his own and was so happy to find it here on Amazon.

You can get identical item at Whole Foods for $5 cheaper. Bristles easily smashed and bent.

Hydrea London is my preferred body brushes. There are so many cheaper options, but though cheaper options will look the same, it not necessary will perform the same. It holds form after a month of scrubbing and washing. It feels gentle and firm on the skin. It absorbs enough of soap and foams slightly. You can either use it during the shower with soap or for dry brushing. Though the dry brushing is better with a dedicated dry brush from Hydrea London.I have normal skin, cannot say anything to people with sensitive skin. Perhaps it will be a bit rough for people with sensitive skin.Otherwise recommend.Always dry the brush after each use, to avoid molding, etc.

3.5/5 for me ... At a first glance brush looks great however it sheds a lot!This (3rd photo) is the result of only going through the surface of the brush with my hand.. absolute horror . Imagine doing the dry brushing daily .. you wouldn’t manage keeping up with cleaning your floor or carpet .. a bit disappointed. Hence the rating..

This brush is perfect. It has just the right stiffness to be effective without scratching. I have been advised only to use it on dry skin, starting on the soles of the feet and working up towards the heart (and have been doing this for more than twenty years). I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
