I am a beginner yoga-ist, but this is the best yoga mat I have tried (others were borrowed from others, found, or supplied by location). I like that it's a little thicker than most of the others I've tried, and especially enjoy the line down the middle that I can use as a guide. It grips the ground well, and sliding is not an issue.Like many things, its strengths are also occasionally its weaknesses: being thicker it stretches a bit, which can be annoying, and being grippy it picks up a lot of dust and dirt.

This is the best yoga mat I've ever used. I even like the new car smell that some folks complain about. The mat is as described...lightweight, non-slip, longer than I was used to (and I like that feature, even though I'm short), and has a line in the center making it possible to be more confident in my alignment. I was afraid it wouldn't be thick enough for some activities and my knees, especially being light weight, but so far it has been fine. Since I have had my other three mats for about 12 years, it was time for an update, and I'm hoping this mat will be just as serviceable. Since I used Amazon Prime, the mat arrived right on time.

I was extremely excited to purchase this particular yoga mat because according to reviews and pictures it appeared to be amazing. When I first got the product I instantly noticed how soft and cushioned the mat is. Upon using it for several yoga classes I have unfortunately experienced a significant amount of slipping, particularly when I start to sweat. Granted that I do tend to sweat more than most people, I did experience slipping as soon as any sort of sweat began to form on the palms of my hands and the bottoms of my feet. I had my girlfriend try the mat for herself and she experienced slipping too; it is important to note that she is an individual that rarely sweats. She found herself slipping on the mat as well and as an aspiring yogi she has experienced a variety of yoga styles and poses. She tested the mat through numerous classes and found it to be unsatisfactory. A solution to this problem would be to buy a yoga towel of sorts, which allows you to utilize the comfortability of this yoga mat while trying to combat the slipping.

after a few uses, the mat seems to not hold its original comfortable feel also, one end is about an inch narrower than the other. guess i got the one that was cut at the end of the day on friday.

This was the yoga mat I practiced on for about eight months, when I first fell in love with yoga, so it has a special place in my heart, but after practicing 3-4 times a week for 6-8 months, the mat quickly deteriorated. The rubber wore off where my hands and feet rested in downward dog. Nice, lightweight mat, but I invested in a Manduka mat to sustain my practice.

This thing is great. I haven't fully used it yet but I am letting it air out per the smell. It's not a very strong smell and wouldn't affect my practice. I did buy this because it was on sale and the cheap ones (20$) rip up when you do any pilates type activity on them. I do not get the impression this will be a problem

I've been practicing for 15 years and teaching (as a sub for all levels) for 10 years. this mat is the best I have ever had. It has great grip and even if you perspire, you will not slip., When this one wears out, I will purchase again.

I really like how light weight the mat is. The two different colors is nice change. However I don't like the blue side because it shows white marks on it after working out a while, but the orange side doesn't do that.
