I've always had Samsung smartphones, my original came with the Avatar movie before it hit theaters. This current one was activated on May 2, 2025 by Verizon. It's unlike any other Samsung galaxy I've had, it's screen is far to sensitive ,the volume is nonexistent, screens dissappear, when I went to set the alarm I got a red warning message ( like the 2G days ) that my device had 97 viruses & was under imminent attack by Malware & to download a cleaner app.The next day ( today) I opened chrome & clicked on best netflix period drama it brought me to a pornography site....SO UPSET & DISAPPOINTED...UNSURE IF IT'S VERIZON OR SAMSUNG....

Purchased to replace my damaged one
I love the Samsung Galaxy A50 phone. However, my wife's A50 was dropped in the toilet and did not survive. The new A50 I purchased was the same but would not connect to my provider, Straight-Talk. These people ran me in circles for several days, Their assistants were all foreigners and with my bad hearing, I couldn't understand anything they were saying. I ended up going to Spectrum and buying a new Galaxy 24S PLUS. They gave me $500.00 off for trading in the A50 phone I just bought. They said the A50 was not compatible with their service either. The A50 was a great phone, Straight-Talk is very frustrating if you have a problem.

Nice phone, but wouldn't allow me to make or receive phone calls
The phone came in excellent condition, but wouldn't allow me to change the APN and save the new configurations. So, I was never able to receive or make phone calls except for randomly. All of the incoming calls would go straight to voicemail. The company offered great customer service regarding returning the phone and getting a refund.
