Elegant design, effective, and sharp.
This has been my fourth nail clipper in recent months after searching for a replacement (ranging from $7 to $25), and I've found this model to be by far the best. It has an elegant design that maximizes leverage and therefore requires little pressure to operate, yet cuts sharply and cleanly. This is the result of good quality steel with high quality control, as well as the fact that it has by far the widest mouth of any clippers I've seen. I'm referring not to how wide the jaws open, but to how wide the jaws are side to side. This makes this design ideal for any adult with normal sized fingernails. Typical designs are not as wide, so most people will not end up with smooth edges along the entire length of the nails. Of note, this Niegeloh model is identical to Germanikure...that's just brand naming. So there's no need to pay an extra $10 for the Germanikure brand.

Greatest Clippers Ever
My wife got this for me as a Birthday gift. I had seen them being manufactured on a TV show and really liked it's features. I have had many nail clippers in the past and after a short period of time I would begin finding them in 3 pieces in my pocket. I would have to gather the pieces and put the item back together. They also were very prone to losing their sharpness quite rapidly. Now that I have the Topinox it has remained sharp and has never come apart. I truly enjoy using them as it takes a lot less effort when I have occasion to need them. If I ever lose mine I will order a new pair. I am even going to order the larger ones designed for the toes very soon. If you want the Cadillac of clippers, get yourself one of these.

They come apart.
They seemed like a quality product at first. But the pin holding them together has now come out and they are unusable.I expected better quality for the price.

This clipper is perfect. It is more than 3" long
My right hand has become so disabled that I am unable to use a regular small nail clipper with it, so I was looking for a larger one with leverage. This clipper is perfect. It is more than 3" long, so easier to hold, and the handle lifts up to a deeper angle which gives it much more leverage. To top that, it is extremely well made and clips or cuts the nails with ease, and allows a great deal of precision. I couldn't be happier with it. I should mention that the packaging calls it a toe nail clipper, but I find it to be perfect for finger nails.

Quality - you get what you pay for.
I bought this and a pair of Seki Edge to replace the cheap-o brands you find at Walgreens/Rite-Aid/Walmart/Target.You know those ones. The narrow tapered edge that causes instability at times when you try to cut a nail. The ones where you push and it seems to struggle to cut through a nail. The ones that leave a jagged cut at times. These, and the Seki, solve all the issues. Stable. A heft to them...feels more solid than the chrome plated cheap-o clippers. And the cuts are precise and easy. They ARE more expensive than the cheap brands. But quality costs. And I will be getting more of both brands.

Large TopInox Stainless Steel Nail Clipper by Niegeloh.
Some reviewers have complained that this clipper is small. I ordered one only to find that I was sent a small, not a large. After reordering from a different vendor, I did, finally, get the large. If your clipper is less than three inches, it is not the large. As for the quality of this clipper, it is top-notch. It is extremely sharp, and the cutting action is almost effortless. My old Trim-brand clippers require a noticeably greater amount of pressure to clip nails, with every clipping producing a very pronounced 'click!' as the nail is cut away. Not so with the TopInox clippers. I can't say that they are silent, but they are comparitively quiet.I am very pleased with these clippers.

This is a TOENAIL clipper, not a large fingernail clipper.
This is a TOENAIL clipper and clearly labelled as such on the German packaging, which is different from that which is shown. Why doesn't the product info specify that this is a TOENAIL clipper rather than a large fingernail clipper? Don't just say how many centimeters it is, which means nothing to most people. Say whether it's for toenails or fingernails. It's amazing this needs to be said. I have NO beef with the quality of this product, which looks good. It's just that I wanted a fingernail clipper.

I tried to like these, but they aren't worth the price.
These are well designed, perfectly finished nail clippers---They just don't work. The bottom "tooth" that is supposed to go under your nail is so wide at its face that you have to work it under your nail before you can clip the nail. This is tedious. The pressure required to keep the tool under your nail limits your ability to cut the nail precisely where you want. That might be acceptable if the clippers cut well, but they don't do that either. When you finally get the tool under your nail and wedged in place there is no satisfying snap of a cleanly cut nail. The clipper's teeth look very sharp but they smash and tear the nail anyway. These clippers turn a 5 minute job into a 20 minute struggle that demands a nail file afterwards.I would not recommend these clippers if they were priced in line with many other clippers on Amazon. At 3 times the price, stay away for sure. Before I wrote this review, I tried to contact the manufacturer via their Contact Us form online. I never received any kind of reply. Be warned, Niegeloh does not appear to stand behind this product.
