I have been a devotee of PepperMate Salt & Pepper Grinders for 35 years now. I’m on my fourth black and white set and I give them a serious workout every day. They are practical, sturdy and easy to use. Being in particular a heavy black pepper user they are generous in the pepper they deliver, the courseness of which is easily adjustable. I especially like the removable catcher at the bottom which is ideal for accurately gauging the correct amount for any recipe. On the rare occasion when I have had to speak to Customer Service they have been receptive and helpful. For me there is not another set of grinders that comes near PepperMate.

If you don’t want to rely on batteries, this is a great product. The attached bottom piece gives you the choice to either use it free-form or collect it in its transparent cup.

I love these Salt/Pepper Grinders.I prefer the twist handle vs the twist top.I seem to be able to produce more cracked pepper in less the turns than the top/bottom twist grinders...Not sure why 🤷🏽‍♀️My only theory is, it is more natural to twist from the side vs the top/bottom...I also love the fact, while grinding, there is a clear bottom attached to see how much you are grinding & if need be, you can actually use a measure spoon to get an exact amount.Over all,Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rating from me.If I happen to drop & break it...It is definitely on my "Save to buy again" list.🎉🎉🎉👍😉👍🎉

I’ve had the salt grinder over 20 years and was working great until I dropped it and it cracked. Love the mechanics (grinder), it never stopped working after all these years. New salt grinder is made of different material now.

I bought the pair as I wanted a salt grinder as well. While both do a terrific job, I find the salt grinderworks better if you grind into the clear base rather than directly over your plated food so as to not oversalt.

One twist produces more pepper.

I have never used a better set of pepper/salt mills in my many years spent slaving over the stove. Easy to fill, easy to adjust and just plain user-friendly. No sore wrists. Perfect grind, every time. Worth every penny.
