True Brew Copper Ale Home Brewing Kit

I picked these kits up for $26. The liquid malt alone is worth $30. The 05 yeast packets included were still within their recommended "use by" dates. I've found that dry yeast packets still have enough viable yeast cells after their posted use by dates. If it makes you feel better, then keep a yeast packet on stand by, or throw this brew on top of a yeast cake from a previous beer; no worries. Time Lapse 2/14/18: I just bottled one of these kits on the weekend. Although green, it was a good tasting brew ( a little on the light side), so I will throw in a few small grain additions (whatever I have in my fridge) in my next kit just to up the flavor a bit.

I purchased this on July 24th and was delivered on July 27th. All ingredients were present but the yeast packet was expired!! The yeast was six months past its expiration 02/2015.
