These treads are super easy to sweep off, they stay put because of the adhesive, they have a little cushion to them, and they fit my stairs perfectly. I’m extremely happy with my choice!

This is my honest, unsolicited review. I was skeptical when I bought these stair treads. They go beyond my expectations. I love them! I can tell you they stick to my stairs and NEVER move. Not even a little. They are pricey but so worth it. I have removed them once to wash them. I washed them in the washing machine with cold water and dried them in the dryer on low. I was worried they would lose their adhesive. Nope! They went right back on the stairs no problem. The corners needed some pressing as they curled up a bit after washing but they flattened completely after being down for about an hour. These have been on my stairs for over a year and they look like they did the day I bought them. I highly recommend these treads. Buy them you will not be sorry.

I was reluctant to cover nice hardwood steps with carpet - this is a good solution. Looks nice - kind of a non-obtrusive classic and classy look. Installation was as expected. (They do have non-skid feature but used carpet tape to keep secure. The carpet tape is harder to deal with than the treads themselves but worth the extra step for safety IMO) Helping canine and human household inhabitants navigate stairs more safely. Minus one star because they are on the thin side with not very sturdy fabric, and I’m pretty sure they will not wear well over time. But that remains to be seen.

I bought these as my dog is getting older and has fallen down the stairs several times. They help a lot. However they do move and today she must have tripped on one of the edges and fell again. I am going to try the carpet tape (which I hope won’t ruin the finish on the stairs - we just had our oak floors sanded and finished several years ago).

Our Sr. dog was having trouble going up and down the hard wood stairs, he wasn't handling the slippery aspect very well. We got these and he's like a new dog, able to tackle the stairs without worry.I was skeptical if these would work on our old painted stairs, but i cleaned them well before adhering and 16 months later they're only starting to loosen a bit. Thinking of pulling them off rewashing stairs and seeing if they'll re-adhere to the steps. I would highly recommend these!

My husband was really skeptical of these but didn't want to nail a runner down on our hardwood stairs. But our dog slipped down our stairs once, and then refused to go up/down again, because she kept slipping. Carrying her was getting old. I needed to do something. These have been like a miracle. I waited 4 months to review them. They have not budged once with 2 adults and 2 dogs using the stairs several times a day. They look as good as new. I have not washed them, just vacuumed. I did peek on one to be sure they would come up with no residue (yes) and restick (yes).I think the people who couldn't get them to stick either didn't fully peel the backing off (which is clear, and difficult to get started and be sure you got it all) OR have rough/unvarnished stairs as I imagine it wouldn't stick well to that.I knocked 1 star off because they are a little pricey, and because the peel off backing is harder than it had to be because of clear color.

Easy to install, adheres well,, I get many compliments on them.

We recently had new floors installed. This job included our stairs to the second floor, which were redone with a matching product called Cap-a-tread. My Golden Retriever nearly killed himself the first time he attempted to descend these steps, which inspired the purchase of these carpet treads. The new product on our floors and stairs looks like laminate flooring, but is actually made of vinyl. The carpet treads, by themselves, would not adhere to the surfaces of the steps. We had to use a couple of strips of double faced tape on each tread to get them to stay in place. Having said all that, these carpet treads are very attractive, they provide cushioning as you step on them, and they also quiet your steps as you’re going up or down.

These treads are made from a nice heavy material. They are a charcoal grey with a gold thread pattern. I stuck them down with some wide, double sided tape which I had also purchased. My stairs are fairly wide and I wish the treads were a bit longer- maybe 36”. But other than that, I’m a happy shopper.

these were priced higher than other stair tread carpets but the quality was poor. The material was lighter on one side on 4 of the 13 treads(see the attached photo). I sent the seller an email mar 6 , 5 days before the 30 day return window. They did not reply and I can no longer return the package. buyer beware
