When Love Refuses To Give Up
A BLUESTOCKING FOR THE WICKED DUKE: ⭐⭐⭐I had a rough time getting into the story. It just did not engage me. It feels like something is missing in the story. I do like the overall storyline about the pride, duel, honor and revenge. But the highlight was the complicated unobtainable romance. This book has potential but there is room for improvement.A SCANDALOUS LOVE FOR THE ENTICING DUKE: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I could not get enough of the antics of the three Birmingham sisters. It was frolicking good fun as they try to outsmart their ruthless, arrogant, power and status hungry mother. The storyline covers Agnes, Isabelle and Eleanor's love life. The trouble they get themselves into and out of is so entertaining you will never be bored reading this book. It is full of laughter, love and romance. The mother, Victoria, had enslaved the household, under threat, to help her to spy on everyone and reporting anything and everything back to her. Her husband Williams Birmingham, the Duke of Cambridge, turned a blind eye to his wife's flawed doings letting her get away with many a folly because he did not want her cross with him. Williams is a kind man, stern in business, respects his staff and those he does business with and he adores his three daughters. But he is blind to the plights of his daughters. Now Agnes is in love with Alan Sheldon, a wealthy merchant and has been for several years. He returns her love and has been meeting her in secret for fear of Victoria's wrath and fear of disappointing the business relationship he has with Agnes' father. Nicholas Stamford, heir to the Duke of Yorkshire, is promised by his parents to wed Agnes, but he falls in love with her sister Eleanor and Eleanor returns his love. What a conundrum. Isabelle and her archenemy, Nicholas's best friend, Benjamin Witherspoon, Duke of Sussex, conspired against Victoria's plot to wed Agnes so that she would gain more power and influence among ton. There is so much going on in this book, so many antics, many twists and turns, totally unpredictable, original, crafty and funny. This is so much fun to read and it is completely original and relatable. I highly recommend it.THE SECRET PASSION OF AN ENTICING EARL: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐What an emotional ride. There are twists and turns that make your head spin. From beginning to the end, the story had me glued to each page. This is a story of eternal love, of cruel manipulated separation, pain, sorrow, shame, guilt, marriage and family. There is an all-consuming passion, frustration, lies, betrayal and secrets between Lord Arthur and Lady Rebecca. The romance between them started when they were children and had grown as they grew up with each other. However, fate threw a deadly blow that forced them apart. It took six years, a funeral, many tears to face the harsh truth of what really transpired six years before. This is a wonderful story that I highly recommend. Also, be sure to read the extended epilogue. It provides even more revelations.

Poorly written history and characters
I have only read The Secret Passion of an Enticing Earl. I will read the other two novels when I find encouragement for it and maybe change the rating.THE SECRET PASSION OF AN ENTICING EARLArthur is one of the worst male main characters I have read. He coerces Rebecca to have sex with him the first time, even though she clearly told him that she was not ready. He is very slow to discover that he has a daughter. Arthur is the Earl, but in his house who has the power is his sister Teresa. Arthur knows that Teresa is manipulative, a liar and that she is jealous because he is the Earl. He allows her to continue her machinations and does not face her sister until the end of the book.I didn't like Rebecca either. She seems pathetic and hypocritical. And at the end of the book, she hasn't changed. The characters in this book do not evolve, there is no personal development.I don't know if Henrietta Harding is a pen name of several authors or if there are ghost writers involved. Perhaps Mrs. Harding has a secret drawer where she keeps all the novels she has written for years, these were rejected and are published now. Or simply write without stopping and without making too many revisions and corrections. I find it very difficult to believe that she can release a book of over 400 pages per month. 431 pages, $0.99. We get what we pay. A book with a history without substance, with surreal situations, main characters who lack common sense and I find them very flat.

Three awesome stories!
1) A Bluestocking for the Wicked DukePayback doesn't always go as expected--what does honor really demand.William, a top swordsman, is easily led into a duel, much to the dismay of his mother who knows of the dishonorable Duke whose challenge he accepted over a minor disagreement. Why can William not be more relaxed and easy going? Well, as a bit of a rake with the ladies William decides to pursue the Duke who bested him by supplying a sword that broke (even though he picked first) and pursue his daughter for her father's trickery and deceitful cunning. No lesson learned from Williams recklessness and arrogance yet. So, will he ruin her and leave her in shambles? Or will he be surprised yet again. Interesting storyline.2) A Scandalous Love for the Enticing DukeThree daughters--two stories for the price of one!Great read! Three daughters--two stories for the price of one! And the third daughter's tale finishes in the free extended epilogue. Loved how close these daughters were loving and supportive/helpful to each other despite maintaining their own secrets which gave a significant amount of drama to play out. The men in their lives were promptly heeled, except maybe Benjamin who "doesn't do love." Anyway, the evil deeds and plotting by their mother "for her daughter's own good" is unbelievably sad, yet totally interesting! No real empathy with her for anyone! This story is fresh, original, and steamy!3) The Secret Passion of an Enticing EarlFidelity and love at long last.Childhood friends Arthur and Rebecca grow ever so close and truly in love. Just shy of making their engagement of marriage official, due to a pouting, pressuring Arthur, Rebecca gives herself fully to him. Then, unexpectedly by both of them, he is sent away to London to study and prepare to become the Earl, ready to take his father's place. No word, then within months Rebecca has moved on with her life with him. How, why...they are both hurt, separated, and not communicating. Six years later Arthur returns to his father's funeral and must assume his duties. His heart still longs for Rebecca, but his sister Teresa tries to help him move on with balls being hosted, dinners, etc. to help him heal his heart and marry a suitable match. But Rebecca is then widowed and with a daughter. He wants closure and explanations. But discussions are too tough and their chemistry still too strong. I liked the way the story wrapped up and there is heat so be warned!

Tales of Tantalising Seduction by Henrietta Harding.
The Bluestocking for the Wicked Duke.William, is forced into a duel with a Duke that is known for cheating and nearly ends up being killed by him. During his recuperation he plots his revenge against him through his only daughter. Joane, daughter of the said Duke meets William at a ball and is immediately smitten with him. Good friends, family, tragedy and a fire add to this story.A Scandalous Love for the Enticing Duke. This was three books in one, all of which are about three romances. Eleanor, daughter of a Duke and the middle of three sisters. Nicholas, the only son of a Duke, who is gravely ill wishes Nicholas to marry and the Duke and his Duchess choose one of the sisters for him. Unfortunately, it is the wrong sister that they choose. Then the seriousness of the situation begins..... An evil mother who only cares about the title and her status within society, wonderful sisters, good friends, secrets, fears of what could be, happy endings and more to come with the extended epilogue. The Secret Passion of the Enticing Earl. After a bad separation for six years which left Rebecca and Arthur both lost and alone. Can they get their second chance of happiness. If only they did not have an evil and manipulative person trying to keep them apart. I found this a very interesting and intriguing story. I liked the extended epilogue as well. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this collection of books, all praise to Henrietta Harding. I received this book for free and voluntarily reviewed.

amazing box set
This box set is compeling reading, with three well matched books that work well together or stand alone reads. The extended epilogues are a great addition that finishes the caracters stories brilliantly
