I've just received and tried on the 3-pack of two tortoishell and one black pair. I was taken aback by the clarity of the lenses - which is a GOOD thing! Also, the oval shape of the eye pieces and the colouring of the frames are fine, and the corners where the 'arms' join the specs at the top-sides, don't stick out unecessarily, (which other makes seem to). But I was disappointed by the way the nose piece stands proud of and doesn't touch the bridge of my nose at all, (and I have an unremarkable and regular shaped nose). It hadn't occurred to me that this might happen. I can easily stick a vertical biro through the gap! Whereas my pre-existing Tesco specs sit snugly on my nose, wherever on my nose I perch them. So my quest continues, (My Tesco seem to have stopped stocking ready-mades). But I will keep the new ones for the occasional emergencies. And who knows, maybe I'll get used to the wierd nose-piece. [Edit: I didn't get used to the bulky nose piece, and have returned the specs].

When I received the glasses they looked really good that was until I put them on they were flimsy two pairs broke within a couple of days starting to use them one pair the glass came out the other alarm come off one pair is still in one piece so I was totally unimpressed . I would not recommend these to anyone purchase.

This set of reading glasses is excellent value. They are lightweight and very comfortable to wear and the different colours are great. The pouches and cleaning cloth that they come with, are good for keeping the glasses clean and free from scratches.They are quite large but the vision and clarity from them is excellent.

The top bit of plastic the hinge screw goes through quickly snaps of because its too weak to hold the screw.This means that the screw eventually will work its way out and the arm drop off.Apart from that the glasses are fine but if they can't see a year out you may as well go to Poundland.

These glasses were great for several weeks then I noticed first one then another of the pair had split and the lens ( 3.5 ) had come outShame because they were ideal for my work editing essays. The photo shows the frame weakness in the same place on the rim.I am not happy as this happened after the return date - Perhaps they will replace my 3.5 purchase

They are lightweight but that is not necessarily a bonus.Reasonably comfortable.Quite fashionable.But, all the above are fairly pointless if the frames are extremely delicate and brittle.And they are.I have had two of the three frames snap in two weeks even with careful handling

Usually reading glasses are so boring in style. This set of three is stylish, lightweight, gives me my vision back...and is great value for money.. I can now stash a pair in all of the rooms in the house not et 'specticalised' so I don't have to carry them with me! My only complaint - and it's a small one - is that the two tortoiseshell pairs are very similar in colour but as they both do the job who really cares. Still if an alternative set of three in different colours was available I would snap them up too. I'm a real fan.

The problem I have had with two out of the three glasses is that the lens frame breaks spontaneously. I had two pairs break while I was wearing the glasses. You a crack and a jolt and then the lens drops out. They have made the lens frame too thin or brittle and weak.
