10 x Moon Polyester Reels Thread Sewing Over Locking Coats 1000 yards 120’s (Red)

the thread had been recommended and is probably very good. However, some of the spools of thread in this black/white/blue /cream set had been used although it was wrapped in plastic bag. In my first order, the colour mix of thread box was perfect, all spools wrapped in plastic and all 'intact'. For the darker colour box, white and black spools were clearly used already, they had now wrapper and teh diameter of teh spool was clearly smaller than for the blue and cream spools. I will return the box, but already ordered another set - and in new order it was the same problem: 2 black rolls and 2 white rolls were without wrapper and smaller. Very very disappointing as this is FRAUD!

In the box there were only 9 colours, instead of 10. I contacted the selled and they said they had run out of green, so they did not put it in the box ( but sent it anyway, instead of letting me know they do not have the full set) . Offered me part refund, which I refused, because the missing col;our was green , which I particularly needed most. When I started sewing, the thread started breaking frequently and when I inspected it, it turned out it is uneven and jams in the needle. Threads donated to a charity shop.

I have had moon before and was happy with it, it was a bit better than this moon polyester thread. I find the black breaks more easily. And , yes I do have the correct tension on the machine. I put a previous moon thread through to check to make sure I was being fair. However, it could be that the darker colours are not as well made, I don't really know. But, I have given 4* anyway as the pack is good value.

Great value but bought because ut was blues but actually there were 2 navy and tge rest were ither neutrals. I can buy cheaoer at my local fabric shop but bought online because of lockdown. I always use this thread as consistent quality and good value and I'll use the other colours but really needed the blues.....

I have used Moon thread for years as Gutterman is far to expensive. It is slightly fuzzy and does knot sometimes when hand sewing but is perfectly acceptable for machine sewing on a budget.

Excellent value product which had been recommended on a Sewing Site. Fitted on Overlocker machine and running smoothly.Happy to order again! Bonus that delivered earlier than stated despite bank holiday.

Brilliant - bought a new sewing machine for simple craft products (I’m not a dressmaker - can only manage straight lines!!) & these polyester threads are great - all the necessary colours.

Bought these to mix up on overlocker to give a rainbow thread. Lovely colours good price
