My GSP absolutely hates everything about grooming. After the initial 'OMG! I'm being brushed!!' She relaxed and laid down to enjoy the attention. My pup has very sensitive skin and the rubber bristles didn't seem to irritate her. We haven't tried it with bathing yet, however I will post an update then. So far, so good!

I'm pretty impressed with this brush. I have 5 cats and two dogs. Keeping up with the fur is a challenge. I have about 10 different brushes. NONE are any help, none. I brush endlessly, to no avail. This brush is amazing. I've done 3 animals so far, today. The amount of fur I've gotten in one brushing, has taken months with the others, no joke. Everyone is getting a nice shiny coat. Thanks! I'm very pleased, I think I'll buy another.

I have 4 dogs and they range in sizes and coat types. This brush is great for my smaller dogs, under 30lb. I use both sides and it works on curly, long, and short coats. I love the bristle side to brush one everyday to help distribute her oils bc she has dry skin. The little nuns on the ends of the other side bc I don’t feel like I’m scratching them. I would recommend this brush for people with smaller dogs.

This combination bristle and pin brush is just what I was looking for. I brush my perpetually shedding Golden Retriever daily, and this removes his undercoat while smoothing out the longer top coat. The brush is exactly like a more expensive red version (with a designer name) and seems to last just about as long. It's a little hard to clean, since the bristles tend to hold on to the hair, but it is easy to hold and does what I need it to do - takes care of the fur without hurting the skin. Eventually the little balls on the pins start to disappear (then you know it's time for a new brush). Much better value than the red one!

I have a golden doodle, and like many other doodle owners comments I've seen, this is the only brush she doesn't shy away from. She actually likes it! I do want to mention, it is not the end all - be all as it will not get all the snarls out, but that is typical with a golden doodle. Most require a tool box of different brushes that you use in phases. I am just glad she actually enjoys being brushed with this one!

This is a pretty basic dog brush and works as one would expect.My previous dog brush failed when the rubber cup holding the wire bristles kept coming out of the brush head. I made it a point to look for a brush that didn't have any issues like that and settled on this one based on the reviews.It is a nice brush and comfortable to grip and use but unfortunately after a few weeks and several brushings the brush head decided to separate from the handle. A little glue seems to have remedied the problem for now but still this is a design flaw that should be corrected.

I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 3 because I'm sure it's a great brush for some dogs- just not mine. I have a Yorkie Dachshund mix and the bristles are not good at finding and working through mats on my dog. I also don't see any results that would make me think there will be less shedding after using this brush. I tried this brush on my cats as well and it appeared no fur came off. It looks and feels more like a brush for a person than a brush for effective animal brushing. I wanted to like this, but it just doesn't seem to fit my needs.

I've tried more than a half dozen different brushes. This brush is heavy but has a good feel, the bristles are spaced farther apart than others and this works great. Removes loose fur on short and long haired cats.

Good for pets that shed a LOT, not great for little shedding or fur that is super soft.PRO:Used it on my short/medium hair cat with a dense coat when he was shedding a lot. Worked well, got a lot of hair, easy (and satisfying) to clean, brissles are soft enough to use on the cat's muzzle, and cat loved it as it was a mix of brush and massage.CON:Used it on my medium-long hair cat with a thin coat, very soft slick fur and it doesn't work well. The fur is too soft to stay on the glove, fur flies all over with very little sticking in the glove. Hard to clean when there is not a lot of fur.

J'ai 2 chats un chien et cette brosse est vraiment très efficace! Mon chien adore le petit massage que ça lui procure et mes chats n'aiment pas ce faire brosser trop longtemps, mais en seulement 1 minute de brossage j'ai amassé une très bonne quantité de poils!Super cool produit!

The brush works okay but the bristles are not as sturdy as I thought to get out the tangles/slight matting.

My dog enjoys these much more than a brush and they work quite well.
