These hold paint well, come to a nice point and are very flexible to change pressure. The handles are comfortable when I work for hours. Love them! Beginners CAN use these as long as they learn not to “scrub” with them, Or leaving them in a cup of water....thus ruining the hairs. Probably not for children though.

This is a great beginner set, my daughter writes Kanji, the brushes do come with the plastic tip. The case is very cute and excellent to store these brushes. She dose use the ink in a tube not paint.

I like that it came with different sizes of brushes. Work well with watercolors

These are awesome!! Will buy again if needed :) im not using them for writing but normal watercolour / ink painting and I have to say great precision and amazing detail. Just started a little painting and absolutely love how easy it is to control the paintbrushes. I have not experienced any hair loss yet. Came in a lovely cover. I highly recommend this product, worth every penny!

Treat these brushes respectfully and they will give you brilliant results. They have generous 'bellies' which means they hold a lot of ink but they also come to a very, very, fine point which enables you to draw lines of great fineness and grace. Never wash them in hot water as this will loosen the hairs.

Brushes are a bit hit and miss. Brush hairs a bit course for my needs. More useful for calligraphy I should imagine

I bought these as a trial to see if I would enjoy Chinese painting. So far they seem ok however if I wanted to paint a bit more seriously I would invest in better ones as the bristle come out quite easily when cleaning

As a beginner I bought these hoping I had done the right thing. A bit of a shot in the dark.I was not disappointed. They are very good so far. Obviously not the most expensive but do seem to be wearing well.
