An excellent guide to the novel. Very helpfully illustrated and divided into sections. Ideal for those students on A level or degree course but also a very useful guide to the general, interested reader. The author is a world expert on Atwood and I cannot recommend this handbook too highly.

I do love this one as it's been properly updated for the new specifications (AO1 to AO5) so is completely in tune with the actual exams my students will take. I have taught the text several times already so really only wanted a copy to make sure my class were okay with the commentary. However, I have used a number of ideas from it already and no doubt will use more in the coming months. Having another interpretation is always an advantage and I think this has been very thoughtfully written.

Bought for my son's A level course. He seems happy with it. I had a flick through and it seems to get you thinking about the themes of the book.

Good item to help my son with his studies. Recommended.
