I absolutely love this soap! My skin feels so much better! I've tried it different ways to shower with. First I tried a pair of exfoliating gloves and I really loved the way it made my dry skin feel. Next I tried a bath sponge made out of the netting material, and it worked ok, it just wasn't my favorite way. Next I just used a wash cloth and that was also great! You need to work up a lather first rolling the bar over and over on the wash cloth several times to get lots of bubbles! It rinses off easily! My skin isn't tight anymore! It's supposed to be good for eczema, poison ivy and blemishes. I don't have that problem but I've heard it does work. I bought the fragrance free bars, so it just has a fresh smell. I think the price was fair, especially if you don't have to pay shipping. I'll definitely be buying again! I think you'll be happy if you buy it too!

I have been using this soap exclusively for the past year. I have purchased the bags 3 times so far. The soap just gets you clean. The bars are big. You can get it in a light wildflower - scent or fragrance - free. It has a good lather and has very few ingredients in it. I have used it on my hair as well. Shampoo bars are a big thing right now, but they are expensive. I took an empty from the soap bag with the ingredients list on it to my hair dresser. She said it looked fine to use on hair. If your hair is color-treated the main thing to look at is the salts in a product. I have highlights and I use it, no problem. The list of ingredients even on salon products can be long, so that doesn't mean that they are always the best for your hair. I just turned 60 and my skin is clear all over my body. I would suggest buying the soap holder bags here on Amazon to put the soap in while using. They give the soap an exfoliating bonus! No complaints here!

A friend recommended this Amish soap and I now know why. It is pure and has a lightly creamy consistency that means it is actually delightful to use. I prefer the non-scented variety but the scented bars are lovely too. They last a long time and don't get gooey if you let them sit on a plastic soap saver that has soft prongs to let the soap bar dry between uses. Best soap I have ever used and at a very decent price so I keep a stash well-stocked. And, it is very gentle to the skin. Claus Porto is too but at almost $40 for a large bar I am happy with the Amish product which is just as lovely/gentle etc. Store soaps are a thing of the past - never to return.

Didn't want to write a review until trying out the product for a few weeks, and I want to say that this brand is fantastic! Leaves the skin feeling refreshed, clean, smooth, and it doesn't make you feel dry and itchy. It's good on sensitive skin as well; doesn't give a chemical burn. And yes, it is still big, despite being used for over 2 weeks.There wasn't any crumbling on my end. Once you use it and give it some wetness it will retain its original shape, no problem. Just take care of it, like you would any other bar. I care for mine by storing it in a hanging soap bag, so that it can air-dry after each use.There is a slight, but pleasant scent to it, but again, no chemical burns and it doesn't strip the skin completely of its moisture. I purchased the one for sensitive skin and it is a good soap that doesn’t dry out the skin like regular soaps. Bar last longer. My skin is sensitive and I had no problems with this soap.

I bought this after watching my hometown lady, Brenda Gantt, telling us how much she liked it. I ordered it and love it. I got the plain ones, not the scented ones as I'm super sensitive to odors. This just smells like soap! Nice and clean. Leaves my skin so soft to the touch. I wash my face and my body with it. Hubby likes it , too. Great product. It's time for me to buy more! Going to go do that now!!
