Creatures of Leisure Universal Day Use Shortboard Cover Bag

This bag fits my board (8' 1" FCD Munoz) perfectly. I previously used a FCS Universal bag that was a bit tight lengthwise, yet way too wide. The stow-able shoulder strap on this cover is a nice feature -- it won't be flapping around when you have this on your roof rack (like the FCS one does).As others have mentioned, the silver reflective material is only on one side, but I just make sure to leave that side up in the sun. I have owned a similar Creatures Retro/Fish bag for many years, and have had no issue with the zipper seizing up. I spray the zippers with some Dupont Dry-film Teflon lubricant just in case.

This bag provides great quality for the $. The innovative design can Velcro closed to reduce overall width. I would have given this a 5 star if it had a zipper pouch for wax and a few other items. Very sturdy zipper and pretty comfortable shoulder strap. FYI: the one bottom of this bag is reflective tarp like material, the top is thick canvas. Some of the Amazon photos show just the top or bottom which makes it confusing because they look like two different items. Definitely would reco buying this to protect your goods.

I've used dozens of surf bags over the years, I always transport boards in them. These Creatures bags are fantastic. They don't have a lot of excess bulk, making it easier to fit a couple boards inside my car or SUV. They expand easily to fit most boards. Short and wide modern boards, even a standard fish will fit comfortably in the bag. The zippers are great and so is the shoulder strap. I recommend this over the ProLite, Destination Surf, and other day bags.

Awesome boardbag for everyday use. Padding is good and the boardbag is slim fit which is nice so that your board does not slide around. Slim fit is also better because if it's in the bed of a truck and you are hauling butt to the beach on the freeway when the waves are firing, the boardbag does not fill up with air like a balloon. This will cause your board to hover and may fly out of the bed of your truck...not good.

Great for the money. Somehow I hit this deal when it was $37 with shipping! It jumped back ton $75 a day later. But I would pay the 75. So far so good. Haven't had it on the beach in the sand yet. But a good light day bag for general traveling to and from the beach daily.

I use it for my wake surfboard and it is perfect. I don't leave the board on the boat since right now i have to store the boat in a storage lot. It has just the right amount of padding to protect the board at my house and when I put it in the back of the truck to head to the lake.

Transported a surfboard by plane safely! I had to place cardboard around the fins, but this bag performed like a champ. Well-padded and durable construction at a great price.

Board bag is affordable and compact. Meets and exceeds my expectations. Only thing that it could improve on would be a bigger pocket but I didn't want to spend another 80$ on a bag just for that purpose
