Clear coffee, full flavour
Excellent double-layer filter, very fine, which produces almost clear coffee even with standard grind (purchased ground).The recommended method of moistening the coffee with the first addition of water before filling slowly works and I’m using a little less coffee than with a paper filter, probably because the flavour is more full as it retains the oils which are taken out by paper filters.It’s less easy to clean than just dropping a paper filter in the compost bin but the grounds knock or scrape out quite easily, with a quick swill under the tap to remove the fines.Feels robust and sits safely on a variety of mugs or jugs.

I use it for coffee and it get stocked in it.

Not as good as paper filters... Shame.
Water goes through a lot faster than with a paper filter. I always put the water through twice anyway... Maybe 3 times is necessary to get a decently strong cup of coffee.
