It is actually pretty soft on the small bristle side, and I enjoy the tentacle looking side for a rough massage if I had a rough day. It feels like tentacles to me. I get the small bristle side all lathered up with soap, and then I as I wash the massage side gets soapy. Now there is never any left behind soap when I exit the shower. This has helped me get all the soap of and stay fresh through out he day.

Pros: The brush head feels nice on the skin. I trust it will help me take care of ingrown hairs etc.Cons: The whole thing feels heavy. Also, the handle is smooth so you have to hold it really hard for it not to slip from your hands in the shower.Conclusion: I'd return it if I hadn't already opened and used it once. Now I'll just have to adjust to it as it is

Very happy with this purchase!! I usually use a bristle brush but I go through them so quickly. This seems much more hygenic and I love that it has 2 sides.

Love love love! It gets the middle of my back. The silicon bristles are soft so it doesnt irritate my skin but cleans it thoroughly. Also no place for bacteria to grow like with a lofa. Will buy again.

We use this for sensory therapy. The long handle makes it easy to reach the whole back and legs without a lot of reaching and bending.

The fact that the bristles are rubberized is great, no scratching of the skin, easy to use and rinses off nicely after use.
