The dehumidifier is compact, can be put in small areas for better performance in my opinion. After three days the dehumidifier get full. The area I located the dehumidifier was light humidity area. The plastic or material that is made the equipment is sturdy & equipment is compact. The unit comes with a power supply, canister is easy to remove and to place back in, the unit turn off when is full. The auto turn off feature makes easy the process to drain the unit when is exactly necessary (when dehumidifier fill up, he shut down and turn yellow light on). The equipment do not make any noises and work quietly. The unit is not rechargeable (you have to connect in power supply, unit comes with own power supply cable). The colors of the unit are modest. Works for small areas, as my experience. Item description is accurate.

Over the past 2 years I have acquired 4 of these little workhorses: one for each space in my apartment. Of the 4 I own this is the only Kowela (and there were two returns of other brands last year) though 3 of the 4 are of the exact same style, just different dealer names stamped on the front.TAKE NOTE: this is the style to buy, doesn't matter the brand, though when I made my recent purchase it was the least expensive (these very simple units have sold for a little as $20 in the past, what they are realistically worth) of a few brands of the essentially identical item...in other words, made in the same factory in Chine supplying various distributors who come and go over time.Given the possibility of price increasing on Chinese electronics, this may be the idea time to pick up a few of these: they work perfectly as advertised: quiet and, 3 of mine now in their second hot/humid season of use. But keep in mind, these simple and cheap tech devices ONLY work in heat and humidity, and don't work fast, so don't expect to remove all moisture in the bathroom while showering. Under less than ideal operating conditions (check the product ad) they still work great, but just remove less moisture from the air proportional to decreased temps and humidity.

Surprised this thing lasts as well as it does. Been going strong for a few years. It does fill up quickly, so keep an eye on it.

Life changer. We live in a very humid area during the warm/hot seasons and our bathroom take a huge beating. We don't have a window (only a fan light) which is a terrible flaw in design. Bathroom always has a muggy feel and musty smell that's so difficult to get rid of. We can't leave our towels to hang because they won't dry and begin to smell! Ever since we install this small but strong Dehumidifier, it's changed the whole dinamic! It stays cleaner and is easier to clean (because dust isn't matted down by wet), the smell is completely gone and we can hang our towels and they dry! A huge plus is the size! So compact but definitely get the job done! Totally recommended!

Very easy to use and set up in my bedroom area that had moisture build up near/on windows. Very quiet humming sound. Within 24 hours collected 1/4 container of water. I live in Florida where humidity indoors is a big problem even with AC running. I think this little gadget is the solution.

It is very quiet but definitely doesn't work well. I bought two and wish I hadn't. Don't waste your money.

I thought thus little thing would be perfect for my bedroom, but it takes about 5 or 6 days to fill up 3/4 of the way. I have not seen a huge difference in the dampness of my bedroom with this. I also leave it running 24/7 and have not seen much of a difference. Is suppose it is better than nothing, but I would not buy it again

I couldn’t wait to receive this machine!! I’ve had a black mold problem in my bathroom now for a few months due improper ventilation . I friend recommended this unit to me, because of great price!all I can saw is WOW! I took a shower in a completely fog less Room using this machine! I hope it helps with the black mold but it definitely does what it says it supposed to do!!
