Every week when I run my shopping errands, I stop in Starbucks. I get a Venti Green Tea Frappucino with soy milk and whip cream. It gives me a pick me up and it is what I look forward to that day. I have been trying to make store drinks for years. I even buy the premade ones and they do not even taste the same. I read the reviews for this and all of them seemed convincing. I liked that I am able to do the subscribe and save but just received my monthly order so opted to buy it at full price with a 15% off special offer they had at the time. The night before I bought some Silk soy milk. I wanted to get the light but they were sold out so I picked up the regular. I also picked up a fresh whip cream. I then waited for the package to arrive the next day. When you open it you will immediately notice there is a lot and it does not seal. It would be really nice to have a resalable bag with this much mixture. The bag does not stand up straight so keep that in mind when you do store/seal it. I read the back but decided to make mine trial and error. I added some soy milk, about a cup and a whole set of ice from an ice tray. I then added 4 scoops of the powder; please see my picture to see the size of my scoop. At first it did not have enough taste so I added more, the 4 scoops total. I added it all to my blender and it blended perfectly! I poured it in a Venti size cup and was AMAZED that it tasted just like Starbucks! This was my first try. I even took pictures so you can see what it looks like. I made another one after dinner, a smaller one, and it turned out just as great! I am glad I read the reviews but really hope my pictures help you so you know what you are getting and what the final product looks like. I am so happy I found this and will be buying more. With summer just hitting it will be handy to know I can make my own cooled drinks and not have to get in the car and pay several bucks for something I can now make at home. Give it a try, it is worth it!

Delicious with milk and ice. It is on the sweet side. No need to add extra sugar. Just so you know, but I like the taste.

The powder flavor is ok. It’s really just sweet vanilla flavored sugar with a green coloring added. There’s nothing actually “matcha” about it other than color. The major ding is shipping lead time is a MONTH?!? A month, really? A month? Are you insane?

I ordered this product because it seemed like a great value in latte mix for the price. The directions say to use 8 tablespoons of mix for a single drink and to blend with ice. I like to drink my matcha over ice with milk so I somewhat disregarded the instructions. I mixed 6 tablespoons into about 2oz of scalding tap water, poured over ice, and then added about 4oz of milk. It honestly tasted quite good. The matcha flavor is a little underwhelming but I feel a full 8 tablespoons of mix would have been too sweet for my liking. It does have a subtle vanilla undertone in my opinion. The powder is very fine which mixes well and the color is a very nice green when prepared. While I would have preferred a stronger matcha to sweetness ratio, I believe this product is a good value and will be enjoyed by anyone who likes sweet matcha lattes.

If you're looking to replicate that Starbucks flavour, in my opinion, keep looking. While this matcha is entirely delightful, smooth, and just gosh darn tasty, it's a bit different than the Starbucks sort. Personally, I prefer this, though I'm likely a little biased. I have only ever prepared it hot so far. I use about half the powder as recommended for the iced recipe (given hot does not have ice melting into and diluting it), a little more or less depending on the sweetness I want. It stirs in well to boiling water (the variety I bought from my grocery store before this was a bit of a battle to keep it all from separating slightly) and is flavourful enough that way I have yet to even consider using milk. I'm sure one day I'll try it cold with oat or rice milk, and I'm sure it will be delicious, because it's some gosh darn good powder. My package had been produced within the last four months and is good for another year or two (can't remember, but it's more than enough time); it offers both the manufacture and expiration dates. For those concerned about storage given it does not possess a ziploc closure, when I first received mine I simply emptied it into a tupperware and tossed in an old applesauce container for scooping. Does the trick for me. Absolutely ace product and will be buying again and again as I need.

It's too sweet for me. I picked up an awful Starbucks habit- Vent iced Green Tea Matcha Latte with/out Chocolate Protein Cold Foam, whole milk. Without the cold foam, it has 12g of sugar. This matcha has 50g of sugar per 8oz of milk serving (2 scoops). Even scooping less matcha, I can't get the extreme sweetness down.
