This is the best synthetic vegan brush

I purchased this item in early September 2021 for less than £10, and was ready to accept the fact that I may have to buy another six months down the line. I am happy to report that this is not the case.I have used this brush almost daily since I received it and not only have I not seen any loss of bristles but neither have these become bent or crooked with use, and I am far from gentle when whipping up a lather. The wooden handle has lost some of its shine, but this is merely an aesthetic aspect and does nothing to impede the use of the brush.All in all one of the best purchases I have made and I expect it will last me a long time. Highly recommended.

The bristles don't retain water. So first time use spilled soapy water down my chin and shirt. I now moisten the tips of the bristles and lather-up but it's still poor.

The brush is good, and very rare to find a non animal brush which is plastic free so good job. However the box it came in was falling apart, which wasn't great as this was intended as a gift.

I have used best badger brushes for 20 years. I decided to try a cheap synthetic brush out of curiosity. This brush initially feels soft and potentially has the bulk required. However unlike a badger brush, soaking in hot water and adding soap causes the brush to become a tight, stiff and unresponsive disappointment. I will not be using this brush again. I advise beginners to avoid this brush otherwise you could be put off DE shaving.Edit. I have used this brush daily since my last review. It has lost only one bristle. It is now really soft and pliable. I now like it and recommend it - especially for the money.Further edit: love this brush. Still not lost any more bristles. I would now recommend this brush. I'm sorry I judged it so harshly at the start.Even further edit: I must have had this brush years now. It's not shed any more bristles (just the one in total). I love it, use it all the time and would buy another - however the way it's performing that won't be any time soon!Another edit December 2022. Brush still going strong. I would buy another except that I don't need one. Enough said. I wish the manufacturers would read this and send me other products to review.

Once you put aside the pimple popper bit and the new but uninspiring new company name (i've forgotten it already) the actual shave brush is excellent.The black resin stock handle fits in the hand nicely is weighted well and the synthetic brush knot is set perfectly - giving the brush a good feel on the face.I would say the knot is on the softer side for synths and is somewhat floppy but it holds water well and has enough backbone to feel great. And the lather capability is insane.The lather will simply explode with this brush with little effort. It is truly a lather machine.So far as clean up, its a synch. Unlike boar or badger any soaps, creams or oils fall off this brush under water easily.The same applies to drying. A quick shake a GENTLE rub of tip on a towel and you can hang dry this easily knowing it will be 100% fine.As for shedding bristles. I have noted NONE being lost at all. The knot is pretty premium.Overall an amazing synthetic brush, and a price that does not imply the quality on offer.Go ahead BUY IT!
