Works great with a new pump
I'm using this with a big turbo build and it meets fuel pressure perfectly. 2 months of use so far.

It appears to do it's job, although expensive part
Received what I was expecting. Installation was about 45 minutes of actual working. Didn't even need to remove battery box for installation into a stock mazdaspeed3 1st gen. Can't really say for sure if it's doing it's job. Have still under 1k miles on it, and still running stock turbo and downpipe with cat.Set fuel pressure in my tune to be max 1850, and it seems to hold at least that under wot. I've seen it go up to 1980 or so.Again, since I am fully stock, not sure how viable this information is since the oem fuel pump should still be able to hold around 1800.I think it's kind of expensive for just being internals and not just a swappable part. Last time I bought a fuel pump was for 90s- early 2000s hondas, and you could get a decent fully assembled hpfp for $150 or less. Was definitely sticker shocked to discover the price to switch out this one in the Mazda, AND still having to basically do custom installation on it.I think I remember the price for getting a fully assembled hpfp for this being over $800 with $150 core, so in that since, the price is more worth it

Easy install for a skilled wrench
Important "Step 1" upgrade for anyone seeking more power from a Mazdaspeed 3.I chose AutoTech over Corksport because of some of the early production quality issues with the Corksport Upgrade. While I know they corrected their issue, I went for peace of mind.Easy install for a skilled wrench. Took about 1:15 from start to finish.I had white on the corners of my spark plug ground electrodes with the OE pump. I'm going to pull the plugs next oil change and I hope to not see the white post AutoTech upgrade. I can report less carbon deposits on my exhaust tips.Additionally, I have had a slight uptick in fuel economy from 27.8 to 28.9. Could be the warmer weather, but I feel it's fair to report the improvement.

This works good for VW FSI engines needing upgraded high pressure fuel ...
This works good for VW FSI engines needing upgraded high pressure fuel pump because of after market chilling. It's very easy to "rebuilt" using this kit. I watch YouTube video of a guy installing the kit for his Mazda 3, so FYI this kit is for both the VW GTI and the MazdaSpeed 3. I have the APR tune and this upgrade is a must for top end speed, the car keeps pulling from 80 to over 100 easily without hesitation or fuel cutoff vs the OEM HPFP if you have the FSI engine.
