Love this book! Lots of great granny squares to choose from. The layout and photos are amazing, easy to follow as well.

the patterns are super easy to understand and follow. i was a beginner when i bought this and it’s helped me tremendously. there are several different patterns from beginner friendly to advanced. it teaches you basic stitches and how to read patterns. each square is really pretty! :)

If you want to do Granny Squares, THIS is THE BOOK! I am learning to crochet and was able to follow the directions easily-and the square came out really nicely, especially for a first try. It has clear written instructions with a stitch pattern as well. I find this beyond helpful because it allows me to visualize what the directions are asking me to do. Additionally, it spends time explaining various elements you will need to crochet the various patterns. It doesn’t have all individual stitch directions so definitely make sure you have a guide for how to do stitches

This book is great has many patterns very easy to read great pictures too.

Lots of granny square patterns included in this book. I tried out the first 3 today. The instructions were easy to follow - includes written instructions with the pattern using symbols. It also specifies what colors you should use and a color photo of the finished square. I like the pattern because sometimes it gets confusing to visualize how the stitches need to align. They recommend using cotton yarn but I find that it is much stiffer and not easily handled (I used medium 4 weight cotton yarn). I also like how they recommend which patterns pair well with others. All squares are 80 stitches so they will match up with each other. Will try making the granny squares using acrylic lightweight yarn that I have left over. Can't wait to try the other patterns.

This was a fun challenge to do one granny square everyday, only 15/100 left to go. You can add extra rows to make them all the same size and do blanket, purses, or even pants with these squares. Super easy to follow if ur intermediate, but most are beginner level squares to try.
