Very Good Thermal Switch
I had bought 2 of the 12volt power units (from China) and the units work very well with one exception the fan noise on these are horrible. Saw a YouTube post of how to fix the fan noise. With the switch you can run in inline with the fan, and then place the thermal sensor on the transistor heat sink, this will keep the fan off until a desired temperature is reached and then the fan will turn on. These are set at 45 C for on and 33 C for off. Under load the my 12volt power supply never reaches 45 C it never peaks above 33 C so why is the fan constantly on? Well here you go away to eliminate the fan noise but not loose cooling when required

works great
worked for my application in controlling a small 6v 5a radiator fan for my rc car. it opens and close within a reasonable threshold consistently.

50/50
I needed two of these but only one of them worked. I would like a replacement for the defective item, but considering the price of the item, it would cost the seller more for return shipping than I paid for them, and then they'd still have to send another. Also, I don't have a UPS drop off location near me without having to hunt down a UPS truck.

Small size and dependable
I got these to press in the space between fins on aluminum heat sink on the back of an MPPT solar charge controller. I am running it at its max so to help keep it cooler these thermostats, in parallel for backup, click on to run a cooling fan. They click on at close to 45C which is about 350 watts on the controller. The controller is rated at 550 watts so it is doing very well.

Works as it should.
Worked perfect for my project.

I was building a DIY power station and needed something to trigger a cooling fan if the internals were getting too hot. I decided simple was best and went with these 45°C thermal switches. I decided to test them before using just in case, and with a pot of water on my stove and a digital thermometer I measured where they lost continuity using a multimeter. In my case one of them opened at about 43°C and the other at exactly 45°C. Now my test setup wasn't likely an ideal way to test but it proved to me that they're both likely within tolerance and that was good enough.
