Deltran, 021-0123, Battery Tender Jr. Model # 021-0123 Maintainer Charger 12V 750mA (pack of 2)

I have one on my riding lawnmower and one on my motorcycle. I would have trouble starting my motorcycle and riding lawnmower after they sat unused for a few weeks. During the off-season and winter I would always have to jump start them and I noticed having to replace the battery more often. Since I have been using the battery tender I have not had any problems cranking them at anytime. My motorcycle sat for 6 weeks (December-January) and we had an unusually warm 60 degree weekend yesterday in January and I decided to ride. The bike had been hooked up to the battery tender and it cranked on the first try. Can't go wrong with that. So after having this for about 6 months, I decided to write a review because it worked well for me.

We currently have four of these working for us. The first two we purchased in 2016 were the Jr 12v, 750mA versions that are still going strong keeping my quad and my husbands DR-Z400s batteries charged. My husband got another for his Vulcan Vaquero last year and it is still working great. We also have a Tender Plus 12v, 1.25A on our motorhome starting battery we purchased in 2016 from the local BB store that is working great. We had two other charger/maintainers of a different brand and my husband just found out that they are only putting out 12.45v in the float mode and only keeping the batteries at a 3/4 charge. Those two are going away and we are purchasing Deltran charger/maintainers from hear on.

These battery tenders are great and I would recommend them. I have several vehicles, a boat, and a riding mower at my house and these keep the batteries charged correctly. I have one for each vehicle that is not a daily driver. It works really nice for vehicles I only drive a few times a year. Using one of these for each vehicle is much easier than remembering to charge the battery for a day before I take it out. In addition, they seem to extend the life of the battery.I bought this set to replace two that had died after many years of use. The older set was from Deltran also, and I expect these to last as long and do as good a job as the originals did.

Have a Harley that will need this for winter time after she's put away until next year. And, have a Chevy pickup that doesn't see the winter time anymore and will keep their batteries in good shape for next year and don't have to worry about spending the money to replace them or getting stuck somewhere while running them.

Very easy to use. I just plugged it in and hooked up the battery connections and you are good to go. It also comes with an extra set of cables so you can hard wire it to your batter and just use the quick connect to quickly store your car/lawn mower/extra battery. Great battery charger.

The monitor was easily set up and installed. We use them for our mowers at a church that don't get a lot of use between major meetings. So far we haven't had a failure to start. During the summer we leave them on all the time and we haven't had any overcharges/boil dry's. Good investment.

Have tried both of them on multiple fully charged batteries. Red charging light never goes out, the unit gets pretty warm over a few days. Tried my trusty BatteryTender plus and it worked just fine on the same batteries. I'll stick to the old tried and true model and watch these collect dust on the shelf of the garage. Waste of money.

I bought these to replace two that were burned out by a three day brown out after a storm. If you don't know, Battery Tenders will keep you battery good for several years longer than the normal life of a battery. They come with battery clips and a plug you permanently mount to the posts for easy disconnection and re-connection.
