Bang for your buck.
('08 Focus) Product works great. I got this because i kept breaking my plastic fabs. Has longer range than my original fab. Feels like great quality. Came with a battery. I was able to get the key cut for $5 and program it myself so I saved $40.SELF PROGRAMING: Will need two original keys!1. Take first OG key put in ignition, turn key to on position. Wait 5 seconds. Remove key.2. Take second OG key and repeat step 1.3. Take new key and repeat step 1.Key should be programed. 🫡

Easily worked on Mustang 2007
I first took it to Ford to have it cut and programmed, but they LIED and said it wasn't compatible. I'd bought 2 of them so I was less than happy about it. However, I found a video online of a guy cutting the key and then showing you how to program it just by using the two original keys and turning them on and off a few times. Yes, it sounded awkward to do, but was actually easy and no one was more surprised that it worked than me! Here's how to do it after having key cut: 1. First original key, turn it on but do not start the car wait for "immobilizer" light to go out. then turn it off and within 5 seconds put in the next original key and do the same thing. Then with in seconds do the same with your new fob and it will remove the immobilizer setting so now the key will start the car. Now you're done with the immobilizer. But the buttons don't work... no problem. Take your original key and get ready to turn forward and back 8 times in a row. Very quickly. Keep in mind, you're not turning the car engine on, just turning the key forward to that point and then back. After the 8th time, you'll notice your car doors will cycle (meaning they will lock and unlock on their own.). When they do this, you'll just press the unlock button on your new fob IMMEDIATELY. I missed it first two times, but then was ready for it. Once you do this correctly, the key fob will be set up and everything will work. I couldn't be happier with the result. I promise you I'm a real person, in Chattanooga, TN. This is an honest review. Just follow the directions. There are also videos on youtube showing you this stuff too. Good luck!

Worked for my 2007 mustang
The media could not be loaded. My only complaint is that the trunk release button is between the lock buttons, and it's very easy to press accidentally, it keeps getting pressed by other things in my pocket. This key was easy to program myself, since my mustang has a way to do it built in.I suggest taking this key to a locksmith to have it cut, as the fob that the key is attached to makes it difficult to insert fully into some key cutting machines. My local locksmith charged me only $10 to do it, idk how cool your local locksmith is but it's relatively inexpensive.

How did this get past quality inspection?!
My phone didn't save the pictures. When I get the key out of the bag first thing notice is the key has been cut, as well it doesn't stay locked open or closed. The back of the case cover is incorrect for that key amd they just tried to shove it on. The buttons weren't buttons. They were rocks that until you pressed super hard then the light would show indicating you pressed the button. As well the button to release the key to open or closed the hole in the case is wallowed out, looking like someone did it with a screw driver or a knife and jagged edges all the way around the hole. So obviously I didn't test to see connectivity to the vehicle. Can't speak on that behalf but it wasn't worth even trying. At this point so frustratingly, i set up the return real quick, mind you doing this in the middle of moving my girlfriend and her son in with me, and just immediately took it to khols to give me my account refund so I can try to give a different company a chance.. I don't know if this was a key that was sold before and someone tampered and sent back and no one checked it and just sent to me.. or if they are just that horrible at quality control that even junk like that makes it to the customer.. I can understand a sticky button or something not obvious. But this key wasn't even in one piece with the key hanging out of the housing while being locked in place. Either way rediculous this made it to a customer. I almost wish I could give a zero star. And I never leave reviews..

Great Product!
Great product! Worked well with my 2009 Ford Explorer. Very easy to program the remote and the key AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. They give you a link to follow and I posted a photo with the instructions that worked for mine. Make sure you READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions prior to attempting the procedures.SIDE NOTE: ACE would not program unless the key was purchased from them. Home Depot did it after I convinced them that it was a "Dumb Key" to just unlock the doors. It worked to manually unlock as well as with the remote. It started my truck on the first try.

2010 Ford Expedition worked!
Got it cut for my 2010 Expedition, worked great. To program use the og key and hit unlock on the doors. Once you do in rapid succession turn the key off and on 8 times quickly, last time leaving the key in run position. The vehicle will beep and let you know it's in program mode, in this time use the new key fob to open and close locks remotely, and once it does, turn vehicle off and boom. Done and programed. This is for Ford...

So far, so good.
