I have been trying out many grey permanent colours on my way to transitioning from blonde to grey over the past six months in my journey to join the Silver Sister community.... There was plenty of product for application on my medium length hair, it was easy to use and it didn't leave me purple! The colour result was exactly what it said on the box {although slightly darker than I needed - my fault) and my hair is in great condition. Over six weeks it has faded in fabulously and currently (week 7 and counting) I still don't need to re-colour. However, I have re-ordered for when I do, this time in a lighter silver option. Really impressed. What a pleasure to find such an outstanding product. Thank you.

I usually have trouble getting dye to take on my hair, but this has taken too well. Fortunately I didn’t cover the whole head, just a few low lights. I know I should’ve done a strand test, but given my previous history, I thought I’d be safe going in with a few lights. Lesson learnt, my bad. I’ve since washed it 3 times and it has faded slightly, but it’s still very blue. Fingers crossed that it fades to grey soon.

I have naturally white/platinum hair which is slightly darker at the back and use semi permanent colours (colourista, Bleach London) changing colours frequently and creating multi tonal fades. 2 days ago I had all my hair cut very short from very long pink/purple & pale blue unicorn hair and didn't like the brash contrast of pink, purple and the white after the cut. I'd bought the Graphite Grey Freedom a few weeks before as was going to put it on my long hair but was a bit dubious whether it would take and be the grey I wanted or just go purple like some of the reviews said happened. . I'd already got purple in my hair from semi permanent so didn't want to add more purple especially a permanent one. So, after having my hair chopped off I thought OK, let's go for it as I can always have it cut out next trim. And tadahh!! I love it! It's took really well and can still see a bit of the purple underneath as a tonal effect but totally covered my pink and white/darker grey. My hair is really thick and quite porous and It sucks up colour pretty quick and retains it so i don't need to bleach it. If you have hair like mine it will take lovely. How long it will take to fade and to what colour it will fade to I don't know yet obviously but will try and remember to update on that one.

Didn’t work at all and left on for right amount of time it just washed straight out will never use this brand or hair dye again DO NOT BUY waste of money

I've been using this dye to transition from dark brown to grey. I went to a hairdresser (who was lovely and did a great but very expensive job) as she insisted the only thing I could do was go from my natural dark brown up through the shades until I could go blonde and then grey/white! This dye was the solution; it's more like my natural colour when I first apply it but it doesn't 'knock out' my natural grey. It does start to fade after about 6 washes and for me leaves longer and longer strands of grey against darken hair. I highly recommend this dye for anyone with medium to dark brown that is greying. Try it, you won't regret it and don't believe everything hairdressers say regardless of how lovely or talented they are at gradually bleaching your hair. If you want to even your grey out and stay otherwise dark this dye is the answer. I apply about every 6 to 8 weeks, unlike other shop bought dye browns, especially darker shades, I had to redo every 2 weeks as left a nasty stark white regrowth line....my natural grey with this is much more blended. This is a wonderful product. It deposits colour rather than trying to do extra lifts. My hair is in good condition it fades out to a lovely blonde.

Es gibt nicht die erwartete Farbe, kein dunkelgrau, das Ergebnis ist ein dunkles Lila und deckt die grauen Haare nicht ab.
