It is very soft. The downside is that because it is so soft, it is hard to get it to hold the blanket that's inside in place. The color is also lighter than the picture. I bought it for my son, but think it would be better suited for a girls room.

Stripes are a little less visible then shown in the pictures but very soft and washed very well. Color was pretty much right on, maybe a bit lighter

You can't beat it for its price and how soft it feels. Follow the washing instructions (cold water) and it should last you a long time.
