This slicer is great.
There are so many spiralizers on the market that look alike within a broad range of prices; I decided to go with this one from Savvy Market Place. I liked the price, the lifetime warranty and the seller's favorable customer reviews. Even if this company disappears, I know that Amazon will stand behind its product because of its great customer service. That being said . . . this slicer works great! When spiralizing "size does matter." The vegetable needs to be at least 2 inches in diameter. When using smaller sized vegetables, the "pencil sharpener" type spiralizing gadget is better (I use that one, too). When spiralizing a sweet potato or butternut squash that is larger than 3 inches in diameter, I microwave it for 2 minutes to cook it slightly before use. Large sweet potato and butternut squash are hard as rocks and the device is plastic so use common sense when putting this gadget through its paces. The directions on the side of the box are helpful but for more detailed information on usage, I checked out the blog - spiralzed.com and some youtube videos. These sources were a great help to me. I have been using it almost every day for 2 weeks. I have spiralized zucchini, jicama, onions, butternut squash, cucumbers, chayote, and sweet potato. Onions spiralized on the small triangle blade prepares onions for making delicious grilled onion in seconds without making your eyes water. Spiralize jicame on the same blade, cut into manageable length strands, season with cajun seasoning and bake in the oven for carb free cajun curly fries. These came out great cooked in my convection toaster oven, too. The spiralizer has helped reduce carbs, increase veggie intake and enabled us to enjoy delicious, healthful meals.

This worked great! We never ate zucchini before making zoodles
This worked great! We never ate zucchini before making zoodles. Don't know what it is but it just tastes better. One comment I read was a suggestion to nuke the harder veggies (sweet potatoes) and that really helped. Just don't over-nuke! Other comments about the weak handle - just be careful. I think it is fine. The reason I chose this one is because I previously had a small cheap one and I had to cut the zucchini in pieces for it to fit in the tube. The Savvy Spiralizer was worth the few extra dollars to get the job done better with less effort.

Don't waste your money
Spend a few extra dollars and buy a real Inspiralizer. This one would not stay attached to my counter and the blades kept popping out when cutting anything harder than a cucumber. I returned it.
