Coolrunner Metal Plant Labels, Aluminum Plant Tags, 6 Inch Wires Included (150)

The Coolrunner aluminum plant tag sold in 100/150 pack are the good ones. The metal is very soft and thinner than office paper, but this makes it easy to mark with cheap ballpoint pen and normal writing pressure. This leave deep impression by the pen, sort of engraved. I tried with letter punches and just push by finger not strike by hammer, good result. What you write on here will be permanent.In other listings, 120/200 pack from another brand, they are too hard and too thick. Can’t be marked except on the surface, which fades away in less than one season, same as wood or plastic plant tag.I strongly prefer this thin brand based on my experiences trying both.

Ordered these because plastic tags kept on fading to the point you couldn't read them. Tried multiple industrial "permanent" pens only to see them fade as well.Only vulnerability I've seen with these so far is in the hole that the twist tie goes through. It can tear out because the aluminum is relatively thin.

These are thinner with plastic twist ties than another brands that I thought I was buying. Those are nicer aluminum tags with wire ties. I bought these because they were priced lower, and they are adequate but not the same. I will pay more for the good ones next time. These tags are very useful for labeling plants. I graft new cultivars onto my fruit tress every year and use these to identify and date the grafts.

My husband is a surveyor and arborist, and he wanted these for a job he was doing. My husband needed to write tree species, age etc to tag some trees for a job he was doing, these worked great. Could just use pen or pencil to write on them and no worries the weather would wipe it off. Great price too.

I use these to label all my plants in the garden. They're thin enough to write on and sturdy enough to handle the outdoors. What I like most about these is the identification won't fade away like it does when using the white plastic tags that you write on with a marker. I highly recommend them if you're looking for something to ID your plants.

I used these tags for my Plumeria plants & bought similar labels else where...however these are like heavy duty aluminum foil folded over. Sooo thin and so soft. When U write on it -it shows thru to other side. I wanted to write on both sides. These label/tags are unsuitable for the way I want to use them. I want this shape, but stronger & sturdier. I was very disappointed in the quality. I plan to return them.

Thought they would be sturdier. Somewhat difficult to write on. Had hoped to make a deep depression when pressing in my print but just too flimsy so not much of a depression. Thought they would look more artsy in the garden....but not really.

Good quality permanent tags just as described. Received promptly. Definitely recommend.
