The buttons are tiny and the hole for sewing is quite small, but they work for these little doll eyes. I use white thread and let some show on each side of the button to represent the white of the eye. A few extra stitches and the eye is completed. Or they could become pupils in the center of a colored circle to represent the iris for a larger eye.

These are just what I was looking for. Hard to find in this small size. Happy to find it here.

These are nice quality buttons, but are not 5mm or 3/16 of a inch. They are barely 1/8th of a inch. They are more like 3mm. Way to small for what I needed.

These appeared to be much larger but are barely bigger than a BB. My bad, I assumed the photo was accurate when it was magnified 20X.

They look well made with smooth edges. But unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. My fault for not understanding the measurement and being more careful, but still disappointing.
