Works well, but watch out!
This is well made and works well for slicing the tops of my artisan breads before baking. The sleeve they provide to protect the blade will not stay on. I found this out the hard way when I reached into my utensil drawer to look for something else. I cut the side of my pinky finger down to the bone. So that is a future concern about how to protect ourselves during storage.
