I waited to leave a review until I’d actually used the item. I was a bit wary after reading some reviews so I ordered more sheets than I needed to err on the side of caution. Typically I didn’t need to as it’s great and I had no problem with it all. It was easy to cut to size using a ruler and craft knife. The icing didn’t stick to the backing and I used a tube of ready mixed icing to stick it to the cake. The colours are vibrant and the picture is clear, very pretty and exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend

As other reviewers have said it's not long enough. I did buy sufficient because of reviews but the cake would have looked better if one longer strip could have been used. On an 8 inch cake I had 3 joins. It does stick well with apricot jam onto fondant icing and is easy to handle and cut. If A3 sheets were available I would buy again.

I loved this edible border pattern. After reading other reviews, I decided to order 2, and was glad I did. One is not long enough for an 8'' cake. I cut around the flowers and put ribbon along the bottom, in case of rippling. Couple of cautions. I used water to get it to stick, but sparingly. If you touch the pattern with wet fingers, you'll smudge the pattern ( I did.) Once in place, I used a cake smoother to gently push against the icing. Even though it was a bit of a faff, but I was pleased with the end result, and would buy it again. Could have done with instructions though.

This was a very good purchase and will definitely buy from this seller again. I was told that it tasted nice. The size was just enough for a large fruit cake, with some to spare if any damage. Easy to apply and very sturdy. Great value for money, definitely recommend.

Doesn’t taste very nice but it looks the part. Bought this to decorate a pre-made cake from Asda for my daughter’s baptism and I thought it looked quite good. The printing was quite clear and detailed and the colour was nice and bright. It was easy to cut and sticks quite easily with just water but be careful not to get any water on the design itself as the edible ink smudges easily. Luckily there was enough so that I was able to overlap the smudged edges anyway. The thickness was good and it was quite easy to apply. I was worried that once I had applied the water it would start to fall apart but it actually held together very well and kept its shape. It was a decent length as well, enough to wrap around a small cake but I would recommend buying more if you have a large cake or several tiers. I also thought the price was fair and I’m happy with the results. My guests didn’t eat it though as it didn’t really taste of anything, so most of it was left abandoned on the plates. It served its purpose as a decoration but maybe next time I would just get a wrap around band made out of card or ribbon which would be a cheaper option. I’m not sure I would buy it again. It also didn’t come with the ribbons as shown in the pictures.

Lovely print very pretty. Unfortunately it didn’t fit fully around the cake. Even with lots of water on the back it took a long time for it to stick perfectly to the cake & once dry it started to peel away. Not nice to eat so don’t attempt it.

These are a great way of decorating a cake quickly. Got loads of compliments on how lovely it looked and my mum was really pleased with it. Used 2 sets so I had the joins in the corners on an 8inch cake. Just brushed on a bit of water to fix and they didn’t affect the taste of the existing icing. Delivery was very speedy too.

Easy to cut and apply, I decorated cake day before and still held very good
