I babysit a bunch of kids and they just love it. The simplicity is remarkable. The animal friends are adorable. I remember watching the first 2 episodes and thought, "man, that Rintoo tiger has some emotional issues" but this show has a great way of showing how to resolve those emotions in a positive way. Lots of singing with some songs catchier than others.

We got this to teach our little one about Chinese New Year. To our surprise, the DVD has three other episodes besides the first one about Chinese New Year! They are not about other Chinese festivals or holidays (for instances, one is about backyard camping) but do have great messages and new Chinese words!

I purchased this to go with our Chinese New Year study unit for young children. It was perfect. We even learned a few Mandarin words. Good for all age groups, shows respect and to be mindful of other's feelings. Good information about this wonderful event.
