MY SON LOVES THEM
My 12 year old son asked for this deck of cards as a holiday gift and loves them. Why? The designs are so “detailed and intricate”. High praise from an aspiring artist!!!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

DARK RED OR MAGENTA WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER COLOR
The box is lovely but the cards need more design aesthetics.

Unique, but ...
Unique, but I don't like them. AKQJ all look the same from a distance.

Tuck case somehow damaged INSIDE the cellophane. Disappointed.
I own the standard green version of the High Victorians, but like many people found the black back design to be a little underwhelming. The red edition are far prettier in my opinion, however they were released as a Target exclusive in the US, and never (to my knowledge) released in Europe.I was therefore surprised and delighted to stumble across these on sale here, and bought a deck for my little brother’s Christmas present. However, the tuck case arrived badly damaged, with an entire flap and a load of the embossed detail ripped off.Even more perplexingly, they were still cellophane wrapped, and the cellophane was intact. Not only that, but the missing flap was not inside the cellophane, which means they were damaged *before* they were wrapped/left the factory. It’s now too late to order a replacement in time for Christmas, but to be honest I’m not sure I would have anyway. I suspect these may be factory seconds/ones that didn’t pass quality control, which would certainly explain how a Target exclusive ended up on Amazon UK.That or it’s a really clever but crushingly disappointing magic trick.
