Schneider ElectricLisse 13A 1- 2 Gang Converter with Outboard Rockers, 2 Gangs

We visit Cyprus every year and the apartment we rent is basic and lacking in electrical outlets. The owners are like family so over the years I have improved the apartment year on year. This year's task is to replace two single 1G sockets with these 1G > 2G Converter Sockets. After isolating the mains supply it will take me minutes to install these 'doubling' sockets and stop the plug-shuffling that is currently required. Aesthetically pleasing sockets that will make my future holiday visits even more relaxing. Highly recommended.

Decent think does what it says on the tin - slightly far out from the wall once fitted as the gear is all housed i in this unit and the single back box is basically empty - it seems half decent in its construction - have seen much worse though. The only real disappointment is that it did not come with hole covers for the two fixing screws which are fairly central on the body and aesthetically it looks a tiny bit odd for that reason - adding to the double depth - so it looks more amateurish on the wall than I'd hoped. Sits behind a table so nobody other than me will likely ever notice really - but I will know - eventually I will just replace it with a proper double socket (just couldn't be bothered replastering a bit of wall at the moment and didn't want a socket doubler hanging out of the socket - so it is a decent halfway house.

Excellent product,well made and easy to fit.simple way to convert single to double socket.No problem with screw lengths, shame plastic covers for screws are not supplied, other wise a good buy.

This was a good price, looks nice too.

This was bought to replace the same Single to Double SSO which has done good service. Failure mode was a broken switch after daily use for many years. The new one fitted with only one problem: the replacement screws supplied were too short for the existing deep plaster pattress. Fortunately I had some in hand from a previous purchase to solve the same problem elsewhere. Inclusion of these would be useful at minimal extra production cost.

Easy to fit but screws too short. Used screws out of existing socket. They need to include longer screws.

Quality product, easy to install and looks neat, other than it does not come with closing plugs for the 2 screw holes
